When you said the vlog reading until you got a 5 star was fun and something you want to try again I got flashbacks 😅👀 I find that challenge ruins or hurts people’s reading experience bc if a book feels more like a 4 star than a 5 ppl think they should stop reading like “what’s the point if this isn’t going to be a 5 star with the video challenge I’m doing” The way you did it here I found much better 🤗😇 more joyful, less worrying about “will this be a five star”

The Pacific Crest Trail intrigues me because I watched Wild with Reese Witherspoon. Then, when I went to Winthrop around this time last year, I got to see a part of the trail. Im originally from Oregon, lived in California for a month, but now I'm up here in Washington, so I get how intriguing the Pacific Crest trail is. I have been to Ensenada, Mexico twice. But I have not been to Canada yet, even though I live 12 minutes near the Blaine Canadian Border. I so want to go to Vancouver and Victoria Canada just to hit their bookstore's.

Almost everybody who has read this book has loved the part where he talks about the eyes are God's loneliest creation... I’m the same way I’ve been struggling to physically read (which it’s been like that for a couple of years now) so I can only listen to the audiobook while reading along with the physical copy that’s literally the only way I can get through a book (sometime I can just listen to the audiobook alone).

I have an idea what you should do have your sister pick two books she seen you believe it's 5 stars then two books you don't think are 5 stars but she won't tell you which category the book is from then after you read the book and rate it then she can tell you what category it was and see how spot on you are or something like that

„Who has read this book and not given it 5 stars?” Me. The person is me. I actually pretty disliked the writing style 🥲 didn’t hate it but definitely didn’t love it. I gave it 2 stars 🥴 it wasn’t thought provoking to me, it was pretentious. And the choppy writing style with short paragraphs and poetry-like vocabulary, metaphors, and non-linear plot didn’t work for me at all.
