Where in the US, you are expected to bring back your Rental Car with a full tank of Gas, in Saudi, it is the Opposite. You get the vehicle with little to no gas, and you can return it the same way. This is why they've built more Gas stations near the King Fahad Airport in Dammam, because people were running out of gas, before they could get to the gas station, after leaving the Airport.

Driving in Saudi is not for the faint of Heart. You must keep your head on a swivel at ALL times. If you don't have a Lead Foot, then Stay out of the Left Lane, or else you will be greeted with non stop flashes of the Hi-Beam and Tailgating. Every Lane is a TURN LANE. . . .yes !!! Being "cut-off " is the Norm. If you do have a Lead Foot, watch out for the Cameras. You barely see them, but they see you. When you see a bright flash of light, you've been caught.

The hamadryas baboon (/ˌhæməˈdraɪəs/;[4] Papio hamadryas) is a species of baboon from the Old World monkey family. It is the northernmost of all the baboons, being native to the Horn of Africa and the southwestern region of the Arabian Peninsula. These regions provide habitats with the advantage for this species of fewer natural predators than central or southern Africa where other baboons reside. The hamadryas baboon was a sacred animal to the ancient Egyptians and appears in various roles in ancient Egyptian religion, hence its alternative name of 'sacred baboon'.

Seeing all the haze in the air I checked an air quality map... Saudi Arabia looks like they don't allow reporting of it or something... can see why. Bahrain (which is right next to Saudi Arabia) is reporting some of the worst quality air in the world right now.

The great historical secrets exists in the abandoned deserts. 34:40 One last thing, Niqahb is a new Salafist word. Hijab is the right term, which means "coverage". Bourqa'a is a traditional name of a piece of leather that covers the woman's noise, mouth and cheeks.. And this one is only common in the Arabic Gulf countries. 42:25 Yes, Camels are one of my favorite animals too, for all what you said, but more important that they are unique and generous and super patients.

I would have visited as much of Saudi Arabia as you could have During your trip. Who knows how long the Tourist visa will exist, but more importantly, who knows how long the 2% of cultural and historical sites that haven't been destroyed will still exist.
