Hey Gabriel! First off, you're doing a fantastic job, and keep doing it! Secondly, we don't claim anything, including the fact that Georgia is the cradle of wine; there are lots of proofs out there to say it out loud. P.S. You are not the only one who said that we "claim" something. Nate, from Kara and Nate, also did that, which is rather offending for me, as a Georgian. We don't need to invent things to prove that we are one of the oldest civilizations, with some interesting background; facts are showing that instead. I'm not gonna link you the articles in here, but if you are really interested in Georgian (or any country's) history and culture, there's a lot of information on the internet, about everything. Cheers!

...And also, just in few more other details about Georgians (as from historian by education) about Georgians ethnic origin, cultures. Georgians in Caucasus, Etruscans in Italy, Corsicans in Corsica, Picts in Britain, Spanish Iberians in Spain and other Iberian/ Celtic peoples of Europe have same ethno, ethnic origin and represent Iberian race, Iberian, Ibero/ Celtic peoples of Europe, this is why all these listed peoples ( together with the originality of each of these peoples) also have similarities, identical in the different forms of culture, in folk music, dance, in ancient architectural style and so on. Also Georgians cultures of different historical times, periods are European ( together with their original Georgian cultures, influences with different European cultures, beginning from ancient times, influences with ancient Greek civilizations/ cultures, with Roman cultures, later with Byzantium culture, Catholic Europe and other European cultures during the history of Georgians, Georgia.), and of course all these historical things proven historically/ scientifically by World's, European (including Georgian) historians/ scientists, and this is why Georgians European/ Western way is absolutely naturally and historically right way to returning to their European roots, which means to returning their true Georgian roots in this South- Eastern, Caucasus region, where Georgia itself is located, and this is how the vast majority of Georgians consider themselves and their country. Sincerely, Alex.
