Awesome / I grew up listening to Jimmy Hendrix, always a unique mix…almost a Dirty live sound. Also when you let go improvising you can find new levels of playing (accidentally) , but improvising on a regular basis you learn to use those crazy accidents and you get used to following your instinct / and get efficient at fixing bad notes- mistakes and making them go to your advantage.

Dear Gabbi! You have developed your video editing SOOOOO GOOD. Remember when I said to you far back in time about it. Now you really look as professional in video style that YOU ARE AS A GUITARIST. You are such a smooth and virtuos player. God bless you in Jesus name.

Love the "in the style of" videos. What about a Vito Brata in the style of, maybe Mr Marty Friedman? Terry Kaith? EvH. Just starting going thru your library. Sounds yummy

Does this plug in work with ableton live?
@GabrielCyrGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
From what I found on the website, yes for Ableton Live 8 or above.

@@GabrielCyrGuitarist oh awesome thanks man! I’m pretty bad with downloading plug ins and stuff so do I have to download the bias fx thing and the Jimi pack and then somehow download all that to ableton live? Haha I’m terrible with all that lol
@GabrielCyrGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
@@jackstapledon3660 Yes, you need Bias FX2 because this is an expansion. I suggest you look on forums or on the Ableton website to find the information because every DAW is different and I have never used Ableton.

I love Bias FX1 with the Bias Amp2 but i can’t stand the Bias Fx2, sounds to plastic for Me, I Don’t know if the Hendrix plugin sounds more realistic
@GabrielCyrGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
To my ears, the quality of the Hendrix expansion is better than the stock sounds in Bias fx 2. One very important thing with these plugins is to set the input gain of your audio interface carefully so the presets don't have too much gain.

As always you sound awesome, but as a historical despiser of Hendrix (yeah I know blasphemy), it doesnt sound like him without the drugs and impossible slop noise... ok hate expected. Lol

Cool story but you just sound ignorant and bitter.
@MindzEyz3 жыл бұрын
@@GoodCitizen.1 What story?... I have the right to not be a fan. I totally respect his influence, but musically I'm referring to the fact that his playing has a chaotic feel to it. Everything from recording tech of the day to where he sat in the beat. You can feel the chaos in the sound (as in a lot not on purpose). It's not ignorant mor bitter. I just really like precision like our host. I like it much better than Hendrix anyday. Godspeed my friend.

I can respect your opinion about Jimi's playing. But I feel you dont get him. I don't think you ever will and that's cool. Chaos may be one of the flavors he played. He was fire, love, deepest love, a bluesman and a virtuoso's virtuoso. Thats why the most respected precision shredders attempt to feel and recreate Jimi's chaos. Let me put it in terms you will never understand soul transcends all aspects of technicalities shredwise and theory wise. That's what separates players like Jimi, Tony MacAlpine and many others from those precise players that nobody will remember or ever want to emulate 30, 40, or 50 years from now. Tap into your soul internally and externally.
