I feel the same and I hate it. When I'm stressed, I could go on the whole day without eating anything and when I will wake up the next day, I will feel very exhausted. But you know what works for me to help to manage stress? It's actually eating more... I know, there can be no appetite but you have to ignore this feeling and eat your 5 smaller meals, which obviously should be clean food. Nothing processed and fried.

@elreydelmundo13435 жыл бұрын
I started working out about 4 years ago, mostly on and off. Have been somewhat muscular, but also have somewhat of a dad bod. It wasnt until recently when i actually started reading about macros and how certain suppliments worked that i really started to see real gains and real results. It's like that for every beginner, you dont know what you're doing until you take a deep dive into the material.

Thanks Gabriel, I'm a female in her mid thirties who weighs 140lbs. I appreciate this info. I started my fitness journey in Oct, 2018 by working out 2 times a week. I never lost weight initially due to eating lots of sweet stuff. I became serious in Dec 2018, working out 4 times a week. I'm eating clean, still craving sugar every now and again, so I eat nuts and dry unsweetend fruits. I workout on an empty stomach so after the gym I have a huge appetite. I eat large amounts of proteins, low carb and chicken. I was getting mad at not losing weight but then I recently noticed my clothes are loose around my stomach and my obliques are now visible, I have also lost inches around my waist. My face looks thinner too.

@MMA-CLIPS25 жыл бұрын
Everything you need is in your food. Supplements etc are easier but less effective. A can of tuna, 2 bolied eggs and a Greek yogurt smoothie with fruit is a great way of getting that protein after a workout. You can put a big dollop of peanut butter in it too if you like. Leafy greens and lean meat for meals, no fast/junk food. I don't recommend too much rice. Do this for a month and you will see a huge difference.
@moralrevulsionLive5 жыл бұрын
Food is always a good idea. Dont forget that supps werent made for gains but primary cause was to maintain weight or quick kcal fixes for people with chronic bowel diseases and weaken immune system (many other conditions) were it affects digestion and cant eat Those eggs youve mentioned for ex For you maybe is a walk in the park For others maybe it takes em a whole day to digest em So thats when powders come in handy And i aint talking about a second rated cheap powder from wmart i am talking about a science based pharmaceutical grade completely pure powder for ex companies like core nutritionals in matters of supps/thorne in matters of pharma grade. And many others

I have a background in neuroscience and my old lab did research on high dose fish oil to treat various conditions. Gabe you're 100% correct about the best way to take the fish oil: during a meal that contains fat, protein and carbs, e.g., eating a piece of fish, taking the supplement (along with fat-soluable vitamins such as vit A, E, D, K), and then eating veggies and finishing your meal. Of course that won't magically make you fit, but it is the best way to take the supplement. High quality fish oil is expensive and you want to get the most benefit of it. It can decrease levels of inflammation and hence allows faster muscle growth/ recovery. Don't be afraid to take several grams, if desired and ok'ed by your doctor.

Guys, for protein increase do some reasrch on plant based food for that. Consuming milk is total BS. Personally I blend my plants as I can't stand the taste of those super veggies like alfa alfa and kale, those super foods leaves milk and protein powders in the dust.
@moralrevulsionLive5 жыл бұрын
Some people cannot digest greens. Some people cannot digest milk Therefore immune system is under attack so you cant grow Yet Who are you to throw the first rock on milk and others should follow? A nutrient which is proven for its efficiency for over 2 centuries vs modern greens mindset 10 yrs ago it was the go beef protein trend Now its the go green protein trend Unless you have severe lactose or dairy intolerance why cut off milk i wonder. Muscle gains are not based in one personal observation foundation but on whatever works better for everyone after metabolic measurements and blood work tests on regular basis Stay with your kelp i will stay with my whey and the third dude will go with his beef No broscience here. Just Enjoy our own foundation if you feel it works But putting the toombstone on milk. And demand others to follow You are wrong And dangerous

I go to a nutritionist who helps me with plans. The current one is a little rough, it's six meals a day that is mostly protein and veggies. Very few carbohydrates and my total calories come to maybe 1600. However, due to my lifestyle, I don't get time in the evenings to eat, so I end up missing my 'dinner' meal most days, and the guy keeps harping on that I need to follow the plan 100% to get maximum benefits. Yes, this is true, but it also is impossible to achieve without really inconveniencing myself for the sake of 100g of protein and 200g of vegetables that are meant to be eaten around 5-6pm. So I don't sweat it.
@maxmartin38116 жыл бұрын
Lysander45 i can guarantee you aren't building much muscle on 1600 cals, the nutritionist is probably doing you more than good
@amegagorilla6 жыл бұрын
You really should change your nutritionist, if he isn't taking your lifestyle into consideration. He's bad at his job; lastly you won't build much muscles with that intake bud.
@olliewhite23956 жыл бұрын
I agree it should be built to his life but perhaps he's trying to cut?
@calumafc27026 жыл бұрын
Im guessing your goal is to lose weight and not trying to build muscle. But skipping dinner because you’re too busy is a weak excuse. 1600 is the easiest target to achieve. If 6 meals a day is hard then go down to 3 or 4
@MK-mf6oe6 жыл бұрын
1600 cal is really low for cutting. Man should never go lower than 1800. I cut about 2200-2400 daily calories atm and even that feels too low for 84kg man.
