Here is what I recommend you really try to get to before you complete this series. You already have a few of these on your list like you said at the end of the video but here it is anyway! 1. The champions ballad DLC. It really is super fun, great new shrines, new added stories and some of the best cutscenes in the game, and the best reward ever! The master sword trials are fun too, but a bit hard and it isn’t really too story driven or “new” content, more just floors of enemies. It is still really really fun though if you want to put in the time! 2. Tarry Town. The best side quest in the game, and I’m happy you said that you’ll finish it. It’s really rewarding, I can’t wait to visit Tarry Town in ToTK!! 3. When you do go to the castle, REALLY explore the castle. It’s easy to just get to the castle and go straight to Ganon, but the castle is my favorite area in the game and there are some fun things to find. (A VERY important item is somewhere in the castle too, but you need to explore to find it)! 4. If you want Mon, it seems that the best way is to farm dragon pieces by setting a campfire by farosh and going for his horn and passing time after each get. The horn gives 150 mon! 5. There are still lots of cool DLC chests to find with even more callbacks to older games! It seems you’ve given up on amiibo outfits, which is fair considering how random they are lol, but it might be worth trying a few more before you beat the game. 6. Please, PLEASE go to the top of Satori Mountain at night when you see it glowing. 7. Eventide island, it’s aaalll the way in the bottom right of the map. That’s everything I can think of now! Thank you for this series Gab, it really has been so great and I can’t wait to see you play the next game. We appreciate everything you’ve given us! Oh! Also, for the ancient weapons. They’re all super cool. The shield reflects guardian beams automatically. The bow has the longest range in the game (outside of an amiibo bow I think). I would say the other weapons aren’t really worth it on a casual playthrough, unless you just think they look cool to use!

Well, those weapons do loads of bonus damage to Guardians, even more than Guardian weapons themselves. Definitely the best things to use against them while your Master Sword is recharging, especially if you get Ancient Proficiency going as well, you can decimate them.

@@sarahadams5037 And there's a little tiny island with a treasure chest just off of Eventide that is the best place in the game to farm arrows. Just plop down your teleport, open the chest, teleport back to the island, and the chest respawns so you can basically get infinite arrows if you have some patience.

Not to mention, the music in Hyrule Castle. It's really worth to stop a bit and listen to it. My god, I'm a sucker for it. Such a nice remaking of the theme! It really elevates the experience in Hyrule Castle to another level and captures the atmosphere so gooood! Mysterious, dangerous and a perfect build up for what is to come. I freaking love it!!

2:30:38 - Hey Gab! A way for mon farming is setting your teleport talisman at the bridge where that electro dragon Farosh comes out of the water. Make sure you aim for its horn, they’re worth 150 mon per part. Place the talisman somewhere dry incase it starts raining, like at the beginning of the bridge. Every morning at around 5 am he flies by. You just place a campfire somewhere dry, light it every time with your fiery sword wait there till 5. And farm those parts!

Super cute thing to do in botw is give your horse an apple or a carrot (endura carrots also increase its stamina temporarily). You can feed it directly or drop it in front of the horse and it’ll love you for it 🥰 and feeding the dogs at villages is cute too because after you do it a couple times they lead you somewhere. And I hope you check out the giant horse before finishing the game, it looks so cool honestly

Most of the dogs that lead you to chests are at stables, not villages, although there is one at Tarrey Town once you've completed it.

Hey Gab, the Guardian Shields will redirect the shots of the smaller guardians for you, BUT they will still break against the Guardian Stalkers. The only shield that will redirect their lasers is the Ancient Shield you can get from the Akkala Tech Lab. Additionally, you can cut the legs of the Stalkers with any guardian weapon in one hit (it depletes durability like crazy tho). Even the basic 20 power shortsword or 12 power spear will do the job.

Recommend ways of getting Mon: You can get Chu Jelly pretty easily, which is pretty cheap as the regular kind. However, you can use elemental weapons to change it's type as long as you don't hit them with the weapon itself but the aura that comes off it when swung. By doing this you can get lots of mon really quickly. Also if you fight the boss monsters and sell their guts to him, that gets you a lot of Mon as well. You can also farm Din Dragon parts from the Tabantha stables at noon. You can also farm Farosh Dragon Parts at the Riola Spring (In the jungle north of Floria Bridge should have a shrine nearby as well) at 5AM. If you take this method prioritize the parts in this order (Horn 150 Mon, Fang 110 Mon, Claw 80 Mon, Scale 60 Mon). Both of these times are reachable by camp fire. I would give you a way to farm Nayru's Dragon but I never found a reliable way to farm them. Farosh tends to be more reliable than Din, but is harder to farm properly. To save you time and money: The Via Gerudo clothing isn't ever upgradable. They just offer you different color. You can also use the Thunder helm and the snow/sand boots as substitution for the Via clothing equivalent for Gerudo town. Also the GSC won't ever kick you out regardless of what armor you wear. Some other things that got brought up: Ancient Shields auto bounce Guardian beams. The most of the Ancient equipment have other secret boons that you can only figure out by trying the equipment or being told. Other items have hidden traits as well, like the golden gerudo bow has increase range and have an increase zoom amount when aiming. Making it ideal for sniping enemies in the distance. The Rito bows have increased reload speed, and the Zora silver bows have better durability. Edit: fixed a typo

If you warp to the spring of wisdom at midnight, then glide down towards Wintre Island, naydra is usually coming through Lanayru Bay (i think is what its called, its gonna come in from the left of Wintre Island close to the water) Edit: It comes through the river section between the cliffs to the left. Still unsure of the areas name. Sorry for not being more helpful

Hi Gab! Loving all the videos you've been uploading Like I said in other ones, it's now a must for my family and me to watch this series when we sit for lunch xD Some cool/fun quests or things I did before finishing or at least to go to Ganon, some you already did, but here are others: 1. There's something fun at the top of the Deku Tree that you might enjoy 2. You should look up TWO different horses everyone keeps talking about 3. Of course finish the Memories, Tarrey Town and Leviathan Bones 4. There are two places that you definitely must visit: - one is far southeast of the map - the other is north of the Lost Woods 5. If you plan on getting all the Shrines you might get a gift 6.When you go to Hyrule Castle, don't forget to find the prison 7. The DLC is super fun 8. The Master Sword trials are hard but SO WORTH IT (I think I just repeated it like two times to actually get the hang of it) 9. Someone else also said to visit Satori Mountain when it's glowing. Please do And I think that's all I can think about now! I'm super excited for you to upload more on this and of course on other games! You're always such a comfort streamer. Thank you Gab!

Fastest way to get more Mon is Hinoxes and Moldugas! they drop a relatively big quantity of monster parts, that also happen to be sold for a lot of mon you can equip flame/ice weapons and they can act as a replacement for an outfit piece, so you can wear the gerudo set with the sand boots and ice weapon and you’ll still be cool, this also applies to fire weapons with snow boots and warm clothes, as for the Thunderhelm you can wear anything with it, it’s lighting proof bonus is already there, usually youd have to wear the entire rubber suit set and upgrade it to get that bonus, so basically the Helm makes this set obsolete! btw you can transform Blue chuchu jelly into fire/ice/thunder if you expose it to the elements! just dont hit them because they’ll pop tears of the kingdom in less than a month!! i’ll go offline until i finish that game

When fighting Lynels, I found it best to stand still, wait, and either Shield Parry or Flurry Rush their physical attacks since they're very repetitive; but if not that, I found Speed Boost food very helpful to avoid the Lynels' attacks. But you can always headshot them with arrows and then mount them while they're stunned. Urbosa's Fury works well on all enemies too, even bosses. The Ancient Bow should have the longest range of all bows, so use that to hit from very far away. Chu Jelly can also be used for survival/battle. Hit a Fire Chu Jelly near firewood to make a campfire, or hit Electric Chu Jelly near enemies to electrocute them. If a Hinox wears wood on its leg, burn it. If it wears metal, shock it. Hinox will get stunned. If you hadn't seen it, there's Coliseum Ruins just north of the Great Plateau (Tutorial Island) where you can get some good weapons ...and a Lynel. I was hoping you'd read a certain book in Gerudo Town, but it says during the aura of a Blood Moon (30mins before midnight), if you cook a meal, you'll always get the bonus effect. Now this next part I discovered myself, before a Blood Moon happens at midnight, if you enter a shrine and wait after midnight, the Blood Moon Enemy Respawn is skipped and will reload the following night. So, ...you can cook lots of bonus effect meals and then, before midnight, run into a shrine to recycle the Blood Moon and cook even more bonus effect meals the next night - and just repeat the process.

Fun stuff to do: 1. Champions ballad dlc. It's really good, has unique challenges, more shrines, more lore, and good rewards. I don't wanna spoil it but it's pretty expansive. 2. The trial of the sword. It's pretty hard but it does give the master sword more damage. 3. do the eventide island shrine quest (it's island at the bottom right of the map) 4. Talk to the people in the mounted archery camp (next to the canyon to the right if the desert maze) to start a cool side quest 5. Find the dlc chests (also get the amiibo outfits if you can) they're usually cool references to previous games. 6. Explore Hyrule castle without going to ganon immediately. There's lots of good loot, including a unique item, and a lot of details and lore. 7. Go to satori mountain at night when it's glowing 8. Do all the shrines. There's a lot of them but you get a cool armor set. One of the best in the game too, but it's annoying to upgrade. 9. Go to proxim bridge and try to jump into the river while a npc called brigo is walking by (this is just a cool interaction, if you're ok going out of your way to do it)

Can't wait to see you fight some lynels, that would be interesting hehe Not sure what will be your plan for next video but if you are going memory hunting and doing the castle one, look out for Zelda's Diary in Princess Zelda's Room nearby. Think it might be easily missed unless paying enough attention as opposed to Zelda's research notes in her study. Also would definitely recommend to do the champions' ballad quests, they are really fun to do, although quite lengthy to complete. Something for you to remember to check out after you complete that whole quest chain in case you miss it, go inside your house and upstairs, a little something interesting will happen ;)

✨pretty helpful tip I've learned about chuchu jelly, you can change the element of any of them if you hit them with an arrow of a different element. throw the chuchus on the ground as if you're going to cook them, then take out your bow and shoot your arrow in the direction of the chuchu jellies! for farming the monster parts: wait till night and beat the stal (bone) enemies to sell their parts. for the snowball shrine: unequip your flame sword and roll the snowball from up the mountain to make it bigger but not too big as you may not be able to pick it up. hope this helps!!

For money and mons, dragon is the way to go. I recommend farming Farosh horn pieces in the faron region. You place a fire next to Rodai lake and wait until morning, Farosh appears at 5:00am. It’s really easy and give much more than any other monster part. Hope this helps! ❤

That big sand monster reminds me of a few nightmares I had as a kid. I would "wake up" on the living room couch, and see a shark fin swimming around the carpet. Apparently the floor/ground was still solid, but under it was not. The shark could somehow attack through carpet/asphalt/concrete, but not tile/grass, so I'd be running around trying to find safe spots that it couldn't get to me. Brains are weird 😂

Love watching your videos Gabs, they keep me company while I'm working :) Tip for fighting Moldugas - stand on something high up nearby (those rock plateaus are helpful), throw a bomb near the Molduga on the sand and wait for it to come up and eat it, and then detonate it! It will stun the Molduga and allow you to get a bunch of attacks in. Then run back to your high spot and repeat!

A good source of high-fructose monster bits [stays crunchy in milk!] is taking a round of the Colosseum. Also, don't forget there is a nice soft Lynol to farm on Platypus Mountain. Hinoxes are pretty easy to fight too, just keep poking them in the eye.

I forget when he does, but eventually Kilton will talk to you about killing all the boss monsters, ie, Hinox, Talus, and Molduga. While he'll only give you a medal for doing each, you'll also get a crum ton of monster parts you can sell for mon (except obv from the Talus, getting gems instead). You can also swing by the Coliseum to hunt for monsters. There's a Lynel right when you walk in, and each tier you climb up, there's more and harder level monsters to fight. It can be a challenge, but when looking for parts to sell, it's got quite a load

I will help again, Gab. For monster parts: Any Hinox will do - Just shot them in the eye or hit with flame sword on there feet. Sneak attack with Sheikah clothes for Lynels and use bombs First - Coliseum near Rota Ooh shrine (climb above) Second - Small island farthest to the East above Jitan Sami and below Shai Yota Shrines (get behind the big rock next to the ruined columns) I would get more monster parts on Eventide Island (see my note on part 11) One final thing is to get the Saas Kosah shine last (bottom of the castle depths entrance) (flame the giant bowl ignitor to reveal shrine) (you will get a cut seen at castle and ignore it when finishing all shrines to get special and DLC) Great job so far!! 😎

I love this series so much! Watch from my wife's account on the Xbox mainly but I always come to mine to give the extra like lol. Haven't played BoTW in ages since I gave it to my nephew to play. Your Zelda series are some of my favorite things on KZbin. That and the Metroid Prime series (2 and 3 maybe in the future?) Can't wait to watch ToTK playthrough while I rediscover Hyrule myself!

It can get a lil stressful when you have to sell so much to have enough rupees/mon. I'm the exact same way, not wanting to part with so much but you NEED the money. Something you can do is sell things that are easy to find and you can get back quickly. In this case, selling ALL your monster parts that are dropped by bokoblins, moblins, and lizalfos (normal keys and chu chus can also be added onto the list). Those guys are EVERYWHERE and you can quickly farm for their parts again instead of facing every lynel, hinox, and molduga and hoping to get a good drop while waiting for a blood moon to do it all over again. You can do the exact same thing for rupees. Selling these parts along with all your apples, hylian mushrooms, etc. Anything you know is easy to get back, just sell all that you have to build up that money. Especially since that fairy in the desert is pretty pricey.

Though, generally speaking, most of us go for maxing out stamina (since its more useful and audo regens) and use Food to fill out the last bit with yellow 'temp' hearts (if you do all shrines you'll be like 8 spirit orbs short (two upgrades) from maxing out both hearts and stamina (after having done the divine beasts),

Heya Gab, a tip for getting a little bit more mon, I know it's not much but if you get more blue chuchu jelly I believe you can change the colour by using fire/electric attacks on them. It won't add much mon but you'd get a little extra. Have a good day!

You should wear your attack up barbarian armor or phantom armor! You don't need extra defense for the tests of strength (and other enemies) anymore and it makes you kill them faster.

The leviathan skeleton you want in Gerudo is actually the one over the Great Fairy there. The one in the icy area is in Hebra, also over one of the shrines, To Quomo. There are two horse related quests. One you'll find at the Outskirt Stable, the other is at the Mounted Archery Camp in Faron. Both horses are really cool for their own reasons, even though you don't ride much, and I personally like the theories that they're descended from Zelda's and Ganondorf's horses respectively. Defo keep going with Tarry Town, finding the memories, and doing the DLC stuff please! There's more fantastic story telling between those. Also, when you get to Hyrule Castle, keep an eye out for secret, hard to reach areas. You'll find the journals of the king and Zelda, and both provide some amazing insight in their perspectives pre-Calamity

If you drop basic blue chuchus on the ground and hit them with either an electric a fire or an ice weapon they will turn into yellow red or white chuchus you can exchange them for 5 mon instead of 2 for the blue at kiltons also bokoblins are easiest to farm cause they are everywhere so just sell their parts too

Its obviously a bit late game but if you're looking for the items with best defense, I've found that the champions tunic (no surprises there as its kind of THE central clothing for the game), the amber earrings (they're a BEAST when they're fully enhanced), and the hylian trousers (the first pants you get really are the best I guess) are the combo to go with. I think it nets like 80 total defense (haven't payed attention to that in a while, so I forget). If you're worried about the aesthetics for any reason its a normal looking outfit, all goes together well. Anyway though this is just passing knowledge along. I honestly like getting to see how you do things differently than what I would, its refreshing. Feel free to take the idea if you please however lol. Thanks for the great video as always Gab

Around the Faron Grasslands there's a fun and easy quest on the Archery Camp plus mini game, both involving horses!! Also many have suggested going to Satori Mountain, so if you go to the area, the Coliseum is right there, might be good practice before the castle 😂 I've gone thru this game up, down and side-ways and still i'll watch every second of you playing it again!

the arrangement of armor i like to wear is diamond circlet champions tunic guardian grieves all maxed out for a total armor rating of 88. makes ya tanky. also stealthfin trout can be best found in the upper left shrine in korok forest. the little pond repawns them their and near the island outside of the forest on westside closet to said shrine. it's time consuming though, but it is the last level to the shieka gear.

Absolutely check out that dark area up north. Also, check out Hyrule Castle - just stay out of the top room with Ganon. You can climb above it and explore everywhere without much issue ahead of the big fight and there's even a shrine at the castle docks. Makes looting all the good stuff very easy. Can't wait for the Champion's Ballad! Get that fifth divine beast! Also: Check out the island in the bottom right! Please! Best shrine quest in the game!

Please please please... don't forget to hit up the Gerudo Desert Stable before you leave the area entirely! If you follow the path leading into the desert, it's right between the two cliffs before you enter the desert itself. Some good side quests are there - bring lots of Rush Mushrooms!!

Lynel guts and dragon parts sell for the most at Klintons. Lynel guts sell for 100 (same as giant ancient cores but those are better spent at the tech lab), dragon fang sells for 110, dragon horn for 150, and dragon scale for 60!

You can make red/white/yellow chu jellies by hitting a regular chu jelly with an elemental weapon (fire/ice/electric respectively)

Definitely finish Terry town. Check out that dark forest that is just north of the lost woods as its a really cool challenge. Don't forget that island that was off in the distance from that one shrine out in the water. The south eastern part by the tropical area. It's a really neat challenge too. The chuchu jelly can also be transformed too. Just hold some and then drop them. Then hit them with an elemental weapon of the type you want to change it to. You can also drop them in hot/cold areas to get that type too. Lionel's aren't that hard and like gardians once you get the hang of it they get easy. The best way I've found is to level up the warrior armor and wear that. Ready your best weapons that you have. Have attack up potions and take one just before. Be quick and get close to them. This needs to be sword reach close. Hit them with stasis then pummel them with a furry strike. Stasis doesn't last long with them so be ready. When it wears off hit them again with it. Just keep attacking it. When you run out of stamina just use regular attacks till it rebuilds. Rinse and repeat, stasis and attack them like crazy! Takes a few tries to get the hang of it. Once you do your first one definitely pick up the dropped weapons and bows as they are super powerful. Use them for the next one.

Also, I don't think you have done it (or I missed it) but there is a special shrine if you do all of the quests in Kariko village, like how you did all the quests in Gerudo for the thunderhelm. They are hinted at in the book at Impa's house, then follow someone out of town at night...

It's worth fulling upgrading your blue hero's tunic. It has 32 defense, which is higher than any other outfit. Also, you don't need to be dressed like a vai for quests outside of the town itself. Nobody cares either way. By the time I finished all the quests, half the town knew Link was a guy, but nobody cared because he was useful, which I find very amusing.

The “Breath Bible”, love it!! 😂For your own personal accomplishment you should try to take a Lynel. Best advice that works for me, when they blow their fire, use the updrafts. While in air aim for head and bomb arrow the crap out of him.

You might want to visit the fairy fountains again and update all of the armor you have now that you have collected a lot of resources. Also, anything you take a picture of you can track in case there is a item you need to upgrade something you have; easier to find with sheikah slate.

Farosh Horn is easy to get: waterfall shrine in Faron, swim to top, set a fire & rest til night. spawns right from the top pool of waterfall. Champion tunic is 32 fully upgraded, so my max outfit of Diamond headband or ancient helm, champion tunic & ancient greaves is 88 fully maxed, highest rating

Honestly, as far as money goes, I don’t really sell much other than gems. You need them for upgrading, but if you do a round of mining for gems, you can get a lot fairly quickly and they’re worth more than most monster parts. Plus, you need most expensive monster parts for upgrading too and they’re generally harder to get - at least for me 😅
