Some stuff to do before Ganon: •Go to each of the villages and finish the side quests, some of them are really interesting •Finish tarrey town - its a lot of back and forth but it's absolutely worth it •Get the Hylian shield! It's in a dungeon in Hyrule castle and you can get it and still leave the castle •Get the final fairy fountain in the desert, she's is quite expensive so you'll need 10,000 rupees •At some of the stables you can customize your horses mane and tail by talking to a person tending to the horses outside the stable - personally I like putting flowers on them •There are some ruins west of the korok forest (I can't remember the name) that has a neat shrine quest •Eventide island - another neat shrine quest on the larger island in the very south east of the map

here’s a crazy tip! Lynels wont attack you on sight/immediately unless you pull out your weapons, he attacked you because he saw the sledgehammer, also you can use Cryonis on mud pits as well! and yes the ancient sheikah split into the yiga and the sheikah we know in the present, because the hylian royalty of back then decided to bury the sheikah technology and make them live in secret, and some of the sheikah didn’t like that hence the yiga was formed… you’ll find out later on how much the yiga are more sheikah than the present-day sheikahs also! EX champion’s ballad is really a great addition, it’s basically a new story with its own shrines and challenges
@laura121684 Жыл бұрын
That doesn't apply to _all_ Lynels. There are a couple that will attack you on sight, whether you pull out your weapon or not. One I can think of at the moment is on Ploymus Mountain. He'll attack you no matter what. But what you said does apply for most Lynels, just not all of them.

Please go explore the top of the Great Deku Tree :) Remember, you can use your elemental weapons to raise or lower your body temperature! Like when you wanted your climbing gear but didn't have enough cold resistance, equipping a flame weapon would've let you do it. The thunderblade worked to conduct electricity because it was metal, not because of the electric power in this case. Also when doing your spin attack with a two-handed weapon, you can cancel it with B. Useful for avoiding extra damage to your weapon from the final smack down when the enemy has moved away or already died, and is useful to cancel Urbosa's Fury when you don't want to use it but want to spin attack.

The Champions Ballad quest is one of two the DLC's. The first is the Trial of the Sword, which is very hard. The Champions Ballad is the one that you should really play, because it has some extra cutscenes and a dungeon/boss. Also, in the south east there is an entire island that you haven't been to, which is also a very fun bit of the game.
@41tinman41 Жыл бұрын
As hilarious as the Yiga clan are, I wish they were a more serious threat to Hyrule. They seem like an awesome variety of enemies to deal with. Imagine having to beat several masters and clearing out Yiga hideouts all over Hyrule since I would think 100 years is plenty of time for them to establish a large enough amount of followers. On another note, I hope Gab finds the memories before beating Ganon as that would give her the best possible ending. Plus we get more Champions scenes!
@academicfan Жыл бұрын
Since you asked for suggestions - 1. I would finish up the 120 shrines and explore/pick up side quests/pick up clothing pieces as you do them. 2. I would explore Hyrule Castle at least once before you plan on fighting Ganon. There’s a very rare item there that’s worth having. And you’ll likely be able to finish up getting all the Memories while there too. 3. I would do the Champion’s Ballad DLC - you get access to 16 more shrines and a new Divine Beast. 4. I would check out the Trials of the Sword DLC and decide how much, if any, you would like to do. 5. Defeat Ganon 😊

The Champions' Ballad which Zelda gave you after completing Naboris is also DLC! They separated the DLC into the first pack, which introduced mostly challenges like Trial of the Sword and Master Mode, and the second pack, which extended the story/main-game content quite a bit. Definitely do that, but be warned... it's long! Maybe even longer than all the Divine Beast quests combined. Aside from that, don't forget to visit the island in the far southeast corner, that has a fun challenge on it! There's also a cute little secret if you finish all Kass' quests, which I think would be a neat bonus goal. That diary you read in the hut at the top of the tree at Washa's Bluff lists all of them and their general locations; the "stone circles" one and the one near Kakariko Village are the only ones you haven't found yet.

You took quite an unorthodox route into the desert, straight through the second largest super high mountain range in Hyrule! Sometimes it's valuable to remember that the quickest way from A to B may be affected by terrain you can't see on your map yet, and warp around to take a look for yourself. The easiest path isn't obvious at all from the Hyrule Field map, but the suspension bridge leads into the long, winding canyon and allows you to get there without climbing at all. Then you can approach the highlands from that side and get to that tower more easily.

It’s funny: I was thinking, “She should get the Korok mask.” And then she said she should get the Korok mask. I hope you do the Champion’s Ballad and unlock the fifth Devine Beast. There’s a pretty great challenge (both that it is very challenging, but it’s also really good and really fun) to complete it. A couple other shrine quests I highly recommend are Tiphlo Ruins and Eventide Island. Other comments have already called them out as well. Tiphlo Ruins is hidden in a dark forest to the north of the Lost Woods. Eventide Island is in the far southeast of the map and takes some work to get there. It’s a great test of skill and resourcefulness. Lastly: you do not need any kind of torch to navigate the Lost Woods. All of the little motes of light in the fog will guide you just as well as the embers from a torch. Follow the motes. If they look like they are moving with you, you’re headed in the right direction. If they start moving to the side, you need to turn immediately.

If you are waiting for a specific time of day in BOTW, you can pass time by dropping a bundle of wood and some flint and striking it with a metal weapon. This will create a campfire that you can then 'sit' at and pass time til morning, noon or night! I found this super helpful for time-related shrine quests. 😊

Top places to visit before finishing the game: Typhlo Ruins, directly north of the Lost Woods, Lurelin Village, in the south eastern corner of the map, and Eventide island, also southeastern corner. There are also two unique horses that are pretty cool, one east of Satori mountain that you can get a quest for at the stable just down the road to the south, and one in the northern part of the Faron grasslands(the spot east of the desert that you were looking at.) And the dlc has two parts, the Trial of the Sword and the Campions Ballad. The Trial of the Sword can be arduous but the Champion’s Ballad has a great payoff after a tricky first challenge, which is easier if you know you can use bomb arrows during that first trial. It also includes what is arguably the best boss in the game, and an extra divine beast-style dungeon.

The overall stamina used when climbing is distance dependant. Being faster just makes you faster. But you can reduce stamina use by climbing smart. most of the rock faces have enough variance to them to create small ridges in the rock which allows you to either climb a harder surface which will deplete energy faster or following the top of the fold reduce the angle and hence the energy use.
