Fail to stop - Substandard Helmet

This rider failed to stop for enforcers and then turned around and took a side street after seeing more enforcers ahead.
He wasn't able to escape because his path was blocked by a parked motorcycle.
Instead of a simple ticket for substandard helmet, his license was confiscated and he's been submitted to attend a seminar.
The SO-ACU, team under Bong, also towed and ticketed many vehicles for illegal parking.
This operation was in coordination with the MTPB, meaning local ordinances and MOAs would be respected

There are paid parking lots that still have space. Most people can't the convenience of parking directly in front of their home. And it's cheaper to pay a city parking attendant to park on the road or sidewalk instead of using a proper parking lot 🤷‍♂️

I think that MMDA should have a meeting with Mayor-Elect Honey Lacuna to resolve the parking issues in Manila. Obviously, MTPB is lacking on implementation on these kinds of traffic concerns.

I'd be surprised if anything changes. It's been like this for many mayor's already. It's a big money maker for the city and for those who know how to get a MOA. Remember the video I made before, about the guy that paid a couple hundred thousand to the City for a MOA, to turn a certain road into paid parking. Then he charged business owners and visitors for parking on that road. The roads and sidewalks were turned into a huge business.

Honestly, should be ticket + seminar, then at the end of the seminar they say, "ok, pick your license up in a week." One question: When they apprehend helmet and dress code violations for motorcycles, do they ask for registration? I only ever see them ask for the license.

If there's no plate, they'll ask for the OR/CR. If there is a plate, sometimes they'll ask for the OR/CR and sometimes they won't.

I accidentally drive may card during my coding it was accident and the MTPB who caught me told me that the driving license will be confiscate and collect from cityhall. Is that correct? As I know MMDA don’t confiscate instead only ticket. But MPTB aside giving u a ticket they also take your license

Most LGU enforcement agencies will confiscate the license, to force people to pay their penalties. Their authority for this comes from a local ordinance. That's why some cities have 90%+ payment ratios, compared to mmda which is significantly worse.

Please visit abad Santos ave between solis st and tecson st. Both south bound and north bound. Specially front of ospital ng tondo. Many illegal parking and obstruction. Tricycles , motorcycles, cars. That's why most of the time traffic in that area. Specially during rush hour. After the clearing operations, they go back to park again.

No one plans cities in Metro Manila, they just became cities because of the population and jobs that were created at the time... Only a few regions are really organized like Pasig City, Makati, Manila Proper,Mandaluyong,Taguig etc. Alot of areas in Metro Manila are still province-like, where I grew up has the same urban development as Metro Manila but it's still classified as a province in Calabarzon, despite having enough people and revenue to become a City...
