As a general principle, don’t castle queen side unless you intend to attack on the king side.

Amazing game by Sindarov who certainly looks to me like a potential future world champion. Pawn c5 is the kind of move that's obvious only when you're shown it! I like the Halloween style commentary - "Black has a FRIGHTENING initiative" and "The bishop on g7 is a MONSTER"

:) Any Halloween references were on my part unintentional, but I'm happy you found them. Just part of my normal commentating vocabulary.

Wow, cant believe myself. I saw c5 quickly! Well, always much easier when you are told there is a clever move in the position.

Sindarov got an excellent Dragon with d5 played and the b-file without white’s attack started. At critical point e5 is interesting and gives white better chances with the initiative.

Incredible game! That pawn move was hard to spot (for me, at least).

According to 365chess, it's an English Opening (Adorjan variation)
@roqsteady5290

Yes 1c4 is the English opening 2.e5 is the Adojan Defence... 3.Nf3 played by Sevian scores very badly for white. The mainline is 3.d4, then if 3...exd4?! then 4.Qxd4! somewhat disrupts black's development, due to the hanging rook on h8.

Black's second move ...e5 has been called the "Anti-Anti-Grünfeld" for about 50 years, I think. Anyway this game is a good advertisement for it.
Wait for it 😂
