They know they're cute though! I'd probably fall off my boat if I saw them out and about but I won't make it about that haha. These ladies are informative and tremendously helpful to those new to boating and fishing. No egos, no assumptions, these ladies show it all, and not the dirty way some of you gutter guys are thinking about

I came across your channel through your collaboration with Nattie Up North. My daughter is about to turn 13 and has found a love for fishing. I am doing what I can to help but my experience consists of a worm under a bobber 30 years ago. I had never caught anything other than a bluegill and never on anything other than live bait. Her excitement for it has spread to me and we love to fish together. Unfortunately we are in the midwest and don't get near the variety that you find offshore. We have had fun catching largemouth bass and crappie. This weekend I am going to target catfish and carp for the first time. My daughter is researching what it will take to start a bass fishing club at the high school. It is great to have some online role models to reinforce the idea that fishing isn't just for boys. Keep up the great work!

You last answer brought back some memories for me. Catching a flounder as a 10 year old which might have been 16" long but to me it must have been 3 feet long. From having to drag my little sister Becca along when I went crabbing, and learning how to fish with her from an elderly Gullah fishing guide named Levi. He taught us kids so much about fishing and life that Becca for years didn't understand why most people didn't have 3 Grandpa's

Recommend you have a look at the SIRIUS Satellite XM weather service. It's has been my go-to for really accurate real-time weather, especially valuable for our summer thunderstorms in South FL. You can see them coming on your MFD and take appropriate evasive action well before they get close. In case you do get caught (worse case scenario!) and it becomes unsafe to even try to get back home, carry a PARA-TEC Sea Anchor (different sizes but 12 feet is a good place to start). With a sufficiently long rode (at least 100 feet) you can cleat it off and stay "bow-in" to a head sea and the wind. Take shelter under your bimini and wait for it to pass.

I have had a similar incident in the Chesapeake Bay. The giant Grey trout caused us to stay too long.We had to head back in because a severe storm popped up out of nowhere. We had to push through 50 knot gust and 6 ft seas. For 30 min it was extremely touchy. We were in a 30ft Scarab CC with twin 200’s.We exited the storm 400 yards from the inlet. It was sunny and completely calm.So I understand the experience and give you much appreciation for handling that condition with professionalism and safety.Good work Gale Force twins.Good luck in your future ventures and I wish you much success!

Yet again you guys knock it outta the park!!!! Great video as always, REAL peeps throwin awesome knowledge. The first video I discovered was the one you guys did on getting your Captains license. It inspired me so much that now(5 months later) I've purchased a boat (20' Pursuit CC) to acquirer my sea time. Then, the Captain part! After that, I'll be starting my Charter out of the East coast of Florida, Port Canaveral area. I'm so excited that I discovered you guys and I can say, I've watched a TON of your videos and will continue too! I'm almost prepared to go offshore, a lil more prep to go. I'll be posting a video of the first trip and hope to one day meet you guys at a meet and greet or boat show. Thanks again for the inspiration and priceless knowledge. Keep up the great work.

Hey I like your channel I happened to stumble across. I used to dive with my friend off an old 27 ft Coast Guard power boat with a 350 inboard. We were about 2 mi offshore diving one time on a nice clear day. By the time we surfaced the sky was black, there was thunder, lightning, wind, rain and big waves. My friend was panicking and yelling at me to hurry up and get on the boat. I am usually calm in crazy situations so I told him we are already in it so rushing won't make any difference. Well, in the blinding rain he cut across an area that was a mine field of rocks just under the surface. I said stick to the GPS course we took to get out there. We hit a rock and he immediately shut the engine off and opened up the floor to see if we were taking on water. Luckily we were not. He did damage the shaft, bent the rudder and prop. We ended up crawling in to safe waters. Another time I chased his boat in my scuba gear across 2 miles of open water...the anchor didn't hold! Many more stories I lived to tell!

A thunderstorm? Rough water? Cold air blowing? That is classic thunderstorm dissipating. What you experienced was the downdrafts caused by the storm dissipating. As a pilot I can tell you that around an airport I would have experienced wind-shear and that is very dangerous. Be careful out there. PS.......I am jealous of your editing skills. I boat on Lake Erie and am trying to set up a KZbin Channel. Keep up the nice work!

Sound like our story, but we were 85N miles out and it went flat calm to 12 feet blowing over 60 knots and this went on for 4 hours before we ran out of fuel. Now days with Sat weather, if you are fishing out of cell phone range, you need to pay the price to put it onboard it will save your life. There have been stories of boats caught out in the gulf in 90 to 100 foot waves from down burst of 100 mph waves. The ocean is no joke! Remember the 2 poor kids off Jupiter. Boat found months later off Bermuda.

In sailing the question that invariably comes up is: When do you reef the sails? The best answer I’ve ever heard is: When the question first pops into your head. I’m thinking this might relate to your getting caught in the storm. When do you head in because there’s a storm brewing? When the question first enters your mind. I don’t know if that feels right to you but give it some thought. Safety First. On turning 26 and being closer to 30 than 20? I’ll get back to you when I can work up some tears. It may take awhile. 😀. Happy Birthday!

Been offshore fishing 3 times in my life and each time the seas were upside down. A lot of chummers/puking ! I prefer inshore and freshwater fishing. There's a creek called Reedy in the poinciana area that I love taking friends fishing on. One friend calls it "Endless Supply of Bass" we catch an average of ten legal size bass a day. And we use nothing but artificial baits ,worms and crank baits . Would love to take you gals sometime !

I think it would be a good idea for you girls to do a monthly charter/event of some kind. With demand high due to your videos, you will almost guarantee selling out the event, and if you keep the supply low but predictable (i.e. doing it every single month or every two months or whatever) you will be able to keep a consistent flow of business. Of course, I have no idea how much work this entails, so I'm speaking purely from a supply/demand perspective, and not an ROI one, but I think it would be cool for your fans to be able to meet and fish with you, and that will in turn, drive up your subscriber base.

congrats on the 100K subs!! I hope all boaters see your "new to boating" youthfulness and remember our own! I honestly hope that it story is always your scariest. By that I mean you are wise and lucky enough to not get caught away from shore in anything worse. Here is a question for ya. If you had a friend out in weather that doing a "delivery" and the "boat?" was a home made 34 ft plywood sailboat (frickin' Ohio people) with a 12 HP kubota tractor motor with max speed 5 knots, and it steers with transom hung wooden rudder and tiller, and they are 20 miles from nearest land getting blown farther out. would you head out with your boat just stay close and make sure they survived it okay? That delivery (I was the mate not the captain) doesnt make my top 5 scariest as nothing "broke". I wish there were "go pro" cameras back when most of us were your age LOL. The "I bet we can take this Hobie 18 over to Catalina and back in this wind!" days :) "bottled water" meant you put tap water in a bottle to take with you days ROFL. Sincerest best wishes with your channel's success!

Funniest moment when Emily knocks over the seagull, both your reactions were priceless. Scariest moment for me was coming into my sketchy home inlet one day last summer on radar from an offshore trip in a blanket of fog and seeing other boats on my radar (and hearing them) blast past me. Visibility was only about 75 feet and I could see that some of these boats did not have radar. I thought for sure someone was going to hit me. My buddies had to pry my fingers from the wheel when we got to port. You guys are great and I'm sure you will achieve all your goals!

If they were coming up behind you I assume they could hear or smell you. Put your self 10 to 15 miles off shore in that fog, going full speed - 5.7 knots - in a 27 ft sailboat (under motor) and you have to cross the shipping lanes between Catalina and Los Angeles. They make 20+ knots out there and you hear them signaling the 5 long blasts... You can't see or tell where they really are, you just hope they "see" the radar deflector thing you hoisted up your mast and are going around you. You basically are putting your life (and passaengers) in the hands of those captains, assuming it is the captain on the helm that shift.

America needs more women like these, not shallow idealistic woke faux feminists. These down to earth young ladies do everything themselves and not afraid of getting their hands dirty or learning something new. They are truly independent and successful humble young ladies, while being a ray of sunshine by teaching others. They are the type I am trying to raise my daughter. Congrats to their parents. You all make Florida proud.

Ladies, Captains, sisters, or Emily and Amanda, however you prefer to be addressed, ( pssst.... I prefer to call you both as Captains, just my choice.) What a breath of fresh air you've brought to not only Y-tube, but the offshore, and inland fisheries is astonishing. Your frankness and openness has been so missed in this generation. Thank you both for being whom you truly are, and why your not past 100,000, I don't understand? Waiting on those spinning rods, good luck in all your endeavors Captains.
