Yeah he was cool as hell but his powers are nothing like what they actually are. You’d probably think it’s a mix of super strength, levitation, and seismic waves but no. His actual powers is to make any thing he touches an explosive. Since he’s great at card throws he uses those. But he can explode cars, debris, holes in wall to sneak into, and even water. He’s a theif and assassin turned Xman with a great ark thats Just frogoteen about.

@@underplayer420Saying Gambit makes things explode is like saying Wolverine heals fast. It's such a basic concept of his power. Before you lecture people on their knowledge, make sure you have plenty of your own. For instance, Gambit is part of the thieves Guild, never an assassin.

To me there's a difference between a movie making money and a quick cash grab movie. Younger versions of Rouge and Gamit was supposed to appear in X-Men Apocalypse, but that never happened. Them along with Jubilee were also going to be in the 90's movie X-Men Dark Pheonix as well. Fox made a huge mistake in keeping this character's out of the spotlight for a long time. Everything got ruined when Fox got sold to Disney, now the fans will never get to see what could have been. Hey, at least we'll get to see Rouge, Gambit and Jubilee return in the X-Men 97 series. They need to have Taylor Kitch return to play card throwing cajun again in a new live action Gambit movie, featuring Rouge like how she was in the 90's cartoon.

I love Gambit but this movie really went overboard. Gambit's only mutant Ability is the ability to charge objects on touch and make them Explosive, the cards he uses is just a symbol of his personality as a gambler. Gambit isn't breaking the laws of physics and gravity, and he doesn't have super strength, at best he is acrobatic and uses a Martial arts style.
