I thought that Lord Tarly letting Dany burn himself and Dickon without much of a fight, was supposed to underline how coldhearted and desperately proud he is, that he can't even find enough love for his son(s) to overcome this. I didn't read it as stupid, I read it as cruel and deeply sad.

Dany used to be all follow me or not but now it's follow me or die haha .. Randall and Dikon dying makes no sense at all, I mean he was loyal to the Targaryens and the Tyrells, called Dany a foreign invader and fought hard to make sure that Sam didn't inherit his lands and titles and then just handed them to him after sacrificing himself and his heir! Gendry still rowing is such a funny comment to me, I watched the reactors known as Bridgeco and Cody had a map and he still had Gendry rowing on the map hahaha

Another issue is that the Tarleys have always been Targaryen supporters! Even though Jaime promised Randyll to be Warden of the South, remember Randyll and the Tarleys were on the side of the Mad King during Robert's Rebellion. Randyll fought Robert Baratheon and beaten him. It's just weird. BTW it makes me laugh seeing Igli talk about Cersei being a possible Mad Queen for Jaime to stop after Spoils of War were men were burned alive.

The Tyrells are gone? They were rightly defeated in battle. So what next? Cersei or Dany? Randall isn't Tywin. Tywin would never send his first born to the wall because family was more important. For Randall it's honor to the house. Not the actual house.

When Jaime enters the room at around 26:30, you can't hear anything clear enough, but the captions show something Qyburn is telling Cersei: "do you want to take something for that?" or something similar, indicating that Cersei was having nausea because of the baby. Many reactors didn't read the captions and kept questioning if Cersei was pregnant at all.

How is it lazy Blake? Dany has threatened to burn Varys already, she has burned her enemies in Essos, she has burned her enemies in Westeros, she has crucified noble Meereenese without a trial to determine if they committed any crimes associated with slavery, she is not a good person or ruler.

So because he doesn't want Dany and barbarians to rule he likes Cersei? He was loyal to the current king Aerys, when Robert took over Cersei was his wife. All known male Baratheons & his supposed children are dead. His wife is the only family left. Does that mean if Dany didn't show up Randall would have ordered his men to ride down to Kinds Landing and fight the Lannisters? No.

@GJS2183 doubt it. People in the comments not just this vid but everywhere apparently wanted seasons of travel filler & never would accept Dany as not a good ruler when it's clearly laid out for seasons already. They can't fathom Jon is more Frodo & not 100% Aragorn and they ignored Bran's wolf is SUMMER meaning he will be the Stark to not just make it through the long night but through spring after the war into the long summer - where a new era and ruler will be born.

@@orphanedhanyou i dont agree. i mean, maybe other people feel that way...but i dont. i like Bran becoming King and Dany turning bad. it makes since. but since it was so few episodes...it seemed rushed and like it came out of no where, even if it didnt. also, the reason Bran sucks as King now is because of how the made his character a zombie....i know why they did it...i guess it's more "realistic" to make him that way since he knows and see's everything...but this is fantasy. they couldve gotten away with him being the 3 eyed raven AND Brandon Stark. it sucks that Bran is king now though because its not really him.

ikr right people say this is Dany being evil but its literally a demonstration of the exact opposite. she was looking for ways to be merciful and when Tyrion suggested they take the black she immediately nodded her agreement but it was the Tarlys themselves who chose to be executed instead of spared. not even Ned would have been so merciful to disloyalty, his first act on the show was executing a young guy who simply fled the nights army after his entire company was already dead anyway.
@emilrobyn42162 ай бұрын
this last shot is so amazing, feels like a nod to the seven samurai. Jon, the Hound, Tormund, Jorah, Beric, Thoros and Gendry. talk about a meeting of the GOATs. also: there's actually a theory that Tyrion is a Targaryen as well. the Mad king had a thing for his mother, which was one of the reason why Tywin and the king started to fall out. maybe it went beyond lusting and the mad king raped (and impregnated) her. not an unlikely scenario. and there's a scene where Tywin says something to Tyrion along the lines of "you are allowed to carry my name cause I can't prove you're not my son". sounds like he has his doubts, and it would certainly explain why he hates Tyrion so much, the living reminder of not only the rape his wife, but also her resulting death.
