Especially in the context of the Fallout show. There are so many gags that are strictly visual and even only a couple seconds sometimes. And entire scenes that play out with no dialogue or spoken explanation. It’s an extremely visual show that you actually have to watch to even follow. It does amaze me how sometimes people in the gaming press pride themselves on declaring something extremely brainless and superficial. No other arts field has this attitude as frequently as gaming for some reason.

Regarding Fallout. Episodes 1 and 2 could have been condensed. It does a bad job of giving an idea of where folk are in the wasteland. There’s no sense of geography. The vault stuff is by far the most compelling element of the show.
