Phaser Turns 10! Massive 3.60 Release

Phaser, possibly my favorite HTML game development framework, just turned 10 and to celebrate they released Phaser 3.60, the biggest release yet. If you are looking to create browser based games, I highly recommend checking out Phaser.

It's great to see Phaser getting developed. I tried to love Phaser but ended up not being able to. Every time I tried to get into Phaser, I had a pretty terrible developer experience. Examples are nice, but when you need to find out what methods are on a class or what are the types of parameters you pass to a method, you are out of luck. It says that it works with TypeScript, but that doesn't make things better, really. I have high hopes for Phaser 4, but until then I'll be sticking with Godot.

When the time comes when Tauri will release their mobile support, we can now use Phaser + Any Frontend lib (like SolidJS for UI) for a full mobile game development

Yep for JS game dev the three are kings (Phaser/Three js/Babylon js)

I would agree with this list. Consider adding PlayCanvas for those wanting a bit more Unity like experience with tooling and presto your HTML heavy hitters.

They just needed a fully featured first party supported editor to streamline stuff. There's a paid editor I've seen around that doesn't seem to be on par with GDevelop or GMS

How it's happening. How mobile rendering performance can be over 7000% faster? So is it mean like that; my game rendering process was getting 10 fps in mobile before, it will get 700 fps with the new update? What's changed to do that?

In such situations, I always imagine like this: "Hey, I found a way to have my car drive 10x faster, use 10x less fuel and increase the interval between inspections by a 100x. How, you ask? Well I learned to release the parking brake before starting to drive!"

Phaser (and any native JS framework/engine, for that matter) produces vastly smaller "binaries" than any of the engines like Godot/Unity/UE. We are comparing full games in a few 100kB to a 20MB Hello world.
