Another game I just realized is so fun and satisfying solo is The Red Cathedral. What amazing game, probably the best value game I own - chock full of juicy decisions and cute components for a really good price! And the solo mode is quite easy to run.

I've had fun playing Castle of Burgundy: The Dice Game. It is so portable and low brain power... Great for travel.

I love playing 'Set a Watch' solo. But the last solo game I played was a recent Kickstarter I got in called 'Keep the Heroes out,' it's great I'm really enjoying that at the moment.

Oh! It's your Birthday!!! 🎉🥳🎂🎊🎁🎈Happy Many Returns! I didn't take the Heroes expansion for Cartographers, because I heard that it didn't add much in the gameplay... maybe I should try it. I like to make little drawings on the maps... but it takes so much time! I played Cartographers some days ago and managed to score a fabulous 34 points, that scarcely happens (well it must be the 2nd time only that I manage that)! I play with the few Ability cards ("compétence") , I think they were in the Roll Player box ? Or in a boardgames magazine ? Button Shy Games are funny little games! I like Sprawlopolis, it's not that easy to play : connecting the roads is tricky! Food Chain Island is a fast funny little game as well. Obsession is all the rage here in France at the moment among experimented players. My lille Everdell is so cute, oh my!!! It's like a cuddly toy boardgame! I must be nice to play a quick soft comforting game, with an herb tea, a blanket and a cat (or Poppy) on your lap!!! But I'll get the 2 expansions later. I discovered Everdell very recently, I had no idea that it would be so good. Tonight I intend to play Demeter, the flip and write game, and Lueur. At the moment, I'm very excited by Boogeyman (I like the theme!) and Caldera Park, which follows Savannah Park. And there's ONE box of Superskill Pinball 4cade left in one online shop, a roll and write game very hard to find... I must get this one at least. Oh no! There's one Floriferous too, which is so scarce!!!😂 A bit expensive for a card game yet. Flamecraft is very appealing too! Waiting for next year seems to be more reasonable, I bought "a few" games for Xmas during these past months! ^^ Thanks for the video Jenna and for the suggestions, and, once again: Happy Birthday!!!!

Meadow and Everdell have very similar solo modes, both I enjoyed very much. Dungeons Dice and Danger is a new fav. And I MAY have been the first to purchase a retail copy of My Lil Everdell at Pax, I made a beeline for that when the doors opened 😂

Last month I played Final Girl for the first time and Roll Through the Ages as well as Orchard. Orchard comes in a tiny box and the rules are very simple (only nine cards!) so it's nice to pull out when I only have ten minutes or so for a game. Final Girl is excellent! Happy Birthday!

Glad to hear that you recovered from COVID. Funny to know you got Meadow for your birthday (Happy Birthday!). That was one of my choices for Christmas, but I finally went for Warp’s Edge. I look forward for your report on Meadow. As for solo gaming lately, I have been enjoying Cascadia, Hoplomachus: Origins and Urbion. Have you played any of the games in the Oniverse series? Would love to see some content on Artisans of the Splendent Vale. I pulled out from backing it just in the very end though it looks really good looking and somehow has a very unique feel to it :) And I hear about November being a bad month. Our family's been sick on and off basically since August and November wasn't anything different. Even December has started strong, with all of us being bed bound with a really bad cold. Hopefully towards the end of the month and year, there'll be more opportunity to play games with the wife and by myself. Just got Final Girl wave 1 and Spire's End Hildegard delivered too, so there'd be a few solo "only" games that I could table.

Games I played solo in November included Resurgence, Terra Mystica (with the new-ish solo Automa expansion), Everdell, Shards of Infinity, Roll Camera!, and Endless Winter. All new-to-me, either recent Kickstarter deliveries or new purchases.

I just got back from Pax Unplugged, and I picked up a bunch of Button Shy games while I was there (including all the ones you mentioned!) and I can't wait to try them all out. November was a slow gaming month for me, too, but I did finally try out Final Girl, and I can see where all the hype comes from. It is SO good!
