I love the christmas lighting in your room. Christmas is my favorite holiday so I really like the aesthetic of the lighting you put up. Have you played peggle on DS? I really want to get that and plants vs zombies. Very fascinated by those mobile to console ports Games I'm playing 1. Ys VIII on Switch 2. Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV on Switch 3. Pokémon TCGP.

Nice to hear some love for Minish Cap, such a cohesive and polished game. Still my favourite GBA game after all these years. I guess we’ll be coming up ion the 20 year anniversary soon.

I tried playing Lemmings on the SFC the other day. That game definitely needs a mouse controller. I know Lemmings 2 has it, but Lemmings could of at least have an intuitive button mapping layout.

I played the new christmas themed Astro Bot level, gotta keep up with all the special bots! I absolutely adore that game. Also playing Jitsu Squad on PS5, a very fun beat 'em up and I love the graphical style in it. And lastly I'm back into Vampire Survivors on Switch, busy getting those final unlocks in the Ode to Castlevania DLC. That DLC is almost as big as the main game!

I just recently got all three Peggle games for steam to play with my gf, I love them growing up and she loves them now, too! So simple and enjoyable.

I loved Echos of Wisdom more than Tears too, the soundtrack was alright, I beat it not long ago it's easy to beat so enjoy. Super Puzzle Fighter II is a good port as Arcade Games go. Glad you are keeping well. I'll be back with some new and exciting wares at London in March as I've sold a lot of my inventory when I went to Doncaster the other month. See ya then.

I beat Half-Life: Opposing Force recently, solid expansion to the first Half-Life game but developed by Gearbox, not Valve. I also recently started Manifold Garden, a mind bending 3D puzzle game, and I'm hoping to finally beat Bug Fables before the end of the year.

Agree with you on Echoes of Wisdom. It immediately became one of my favourite Zelda games. It's just so creative and so much fun. I had the same experience as you, that I've enjoyed it more than TotK, although that was really great too. The soundtrack in EoW was the only weaker part for me. I want unforgettable soundtracks like in OoT or WW that melts your brain how magical they are. (maybe easier said than done).😅Color Splash is so much fun and tragically underrated. One of the funniest laugh out loud games I've ever played. Enjoyed every second of it. Made Toad(s) my fave Nintendo character, they're just absolutely hysterical in this game. Sticker star feels kind of empty and deserves a lot of its criticisms, but it took Color splash unfairly with it "to the depths". Actually when I saw how beautiful the new art style was in the CS trailer I went out and bought a Wii U, although the Switch was really close to launch. 😅 (I did specifically want Wind Waker HD and Captain Toad too). However I got all the great Wii U games for about 20€ or cheaper each at the end of its lifecycle, and didn't feel like I needed a Switch until Link's Awakening remaster and Luigi's mansion 3 in 2019, because almost all games in 2017 and 18 were Wii U remasters. Don't regret the Wii U at all. In retrospect I'd probably would've wanted a Switch if I would've realized how great Odyssey is.

Fast Racing NEO on the Wii U is awesome! At this time i have the game but my Wii U is down. One of these days i'll get a new one or get that one fixed. Also love the Peggle game but i've only played it on the DS, i think it is called "Peggle Dual Shot" on the DS. Last year at this time i was on a Gauntlet kick, this year however i'm playing "College Slam" four way with family on the PS1. Since were getting a lot of external family showing up, might as well enjoy video games with them!

Cool games! I have been playing the newest Zelda title as well, I liked it a lot but it is a bit too easy and too talkative in parts. I am also torn on the openess of the world, as several places can be accessed before anything happens there so you just... meet so folks that are basically just waiting for you to progress in the main story. Anyway I liked it and it has a lot of good ideas but I feel like it isn't on par with the best 2D entries. Otherwise, I've played some indie titles (Inspector Waffles: Early Days is a really cool new detective game on the GBC, The Puzzle Maker: Cebba's Odyssey is a fun puzzle game) and I've recently started Anton Blast.

I'm currently playing my all time favorite GBA game of all time, Urbz Sims in The City this is my like 50 or 60th time playing it all the way through and I've yet never got a 100% complete file lol

I also recently dug out Peggle again! :) But the 2-in-1 DS version (Peggle + Peggle Nigts). It's a great port and nowadays I actually prefer it over the PC version. I'm currently trying to complete all the challenges ^^

Keep goongbwith Astro Bot, playijg through the main courses is chill and easy and i dont think it's a bad thing all. Then the challenge stages can be really hard! Not impossible, just challenging. Oh and some of the characters they refrence are insane.

Tetris forever looks very similar to that of the Atari 50 with the timeline and style, really good collection too, may consider getting Tetris forever Really liked Astro bot & sonic x shadow, definitely the best games of the year imo I should be getting echoes of wisdom soon, very excited to play it!

Same engine as Atari 50 yes, and there's a Llama soft game with he same style too, not played those yet though! I really should though, as I loved Tetris Forever!

Shadow Generations is so easy. Beat it in four hours. Only thing making it challenging is the slippery controls. One of the easiest games ever made.

I fully completed it. It's a great game but I agree it's a little too simple all the way through outside of the fun challenge stages. I'm sure it's all by design to make it as accessible as possible but I feel like the PS1and PS2 era balanced difficulty better outside of some janky bullshit which Astro Bot doesn't have. One thing I do appreciate is whenever I was stuck for just a short moment because I forgot which ability I had to use to interact, a non-intrusive hint would pop up to keep the pace going. So the game only shows hints when it detects you're taking too long at certain points and I love that. I hope other modern games follow this trend.
