(This one goes back to episode 7 of the series! So it's old...but it's still a personal favorite)
I just got done playing Lego Batman 3, and there are SO MANY CHARACTERS to unlock. Seriously, like 150. And while a lot of the comic book characters I recognized -- Joker, Lex Luthor, Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns -- there was a WHOLE lot more that I didn't, like a half-Superman, half-Batman hybrid, and a robotic Superman, and a Batman COW! So I'm digging deep into comic lore to shed some light on these lesser-known characters, and what I've found is that the characters you DON'T know are WAY cooler than the ones that you DO!

Blame Batman. It devolved into such horrible cash ins with bat credit cards and bat nipples that once Christian Bale stepped in to reboot the series, it left every producer thinking gruff tough guy comicbook fished dramas are what people want. There's a lot of room there, and it's still part of the fantasy genre, and could use more Shrek mentality and less... some brooding thing with personal challenges with feelings and woe is me, with dead side characters we are supposed to care about with zero personality but affected the main character deeply. OMG Deadpool should be awesome and true to the series. If it's bad, it's bad. But they need it to be Deadpool and it'll be awesome. Have the Lego guys write the script! They are either extensive in the research or just awesome.

Comic Books will be like that. The most popular characters are the easiest to comprehend. I often wonder why Victor Zsasz never showed up in a Batman Animation. Zsasz is a serial killer with the pathological need to commit murder, who carves tally marks in his skin and makes no apologies, but the state won't kill him because bullshit psychosis. How terrible is this person? Batman has stated once or twice that there is literally no one he hates more. It's ironic that characters like the Joker and Hush would work hard to earn this position, but Zsasz sincerely couldn't care less.

You're right, in a way, but energy is more definable. Hope can be smashed with a simple glare. The difference between all the rings versus the green is like that of a single bazooka v a P90. The bazooka hits hard in one go, but that is it. You have more control and reliability with green. White is similar in that respect, but the limited amount of white lanterns almost files it under the same analogy.

that's one of the issues I have with how WB handles DC movies. if they could just find filmmakers that care about the DC Universe as a whole, they could do some amazing work. I never ever EVER imagined myself caring about a group of assholes in space, but Marvel made me care about Guardians of the Galaxy. +Dizzy Lizzy Well DC is doing a Green Lantern core movie which is coming out in 2020. They also doing a movie based on supervillains called the Suicide Squad which is being released in 2016. We also getting a movie based on a Goddess set in World War 2 and a King that resides in depths of the ocean. We are getting a Flash movie, a movie based on a character whose a cyborg. We are also getting a movie based on SHAZAM, The Rock is playing Black Adam which a villain to SHAZAM So don't worry DC's movie universe is going to get a whole lot more exciting and weird just like Marvels.

Detective Chimp movies could be a mix of Sherlock Holmes,Batman, a bit of Planet of the Apes cause you know detective chimp would look awesome with that kind of CGi, and a splash of Guardians of the Galaxy because you know it would be unfair to not have some comedy in a movie with a chimp detective. Im all about this or potentially these movies,detective stuff in general is awesome and a favorite genre for me.

Underrated. Superhero. Ever. He is an Inhuman with the power to see the weakness in anything. An object. A plan. A person.
