I would strongly warn people considering any secretlab chair to know that if you don't like the chair (very high chance), get ready to pay $200 for return shipping. Also, they don't accept returns for anything bought that doesn't come with the chair itself. If you want a lumbar pillow for the Titan, no returns on that pillow. I just returned my Titan yesterday, and I just flushed hundreds down the toilet for an extremely uncomfortable chair that I don't own anymore. I'll be picking up either a Zody or Leap V2 soon :)

@@5p0ng3b0bx I got the Zody. I like it well enough. I got it used. The cushion isn't as thick as I would like, but I don't have much to complain about. I would recommend it if you can get one for cheap.

you should try getting in the evo in fabric and reviewing it because I think that would fix a few issues you have with the chair in terms of comfort and sitting to warm

There also very solid gaming chair options made in germany. I would recommend you try out the backforce one plus and the adept holo. there both gaming chairs which are also made to be like office chairs. i think there better then the secretlab titan because they have a synchro tilt mechanism, seat depth and softer seatpads. Would love to see you making reviews to this chairs. Keep up the good work!

@@StardustLegacyFighter i've had an secretlab titan and sold it because it was so stiff and i got no movement. Tomorrow my Herman Miller embody arrives, but i think for someone wann have the gaming look these 2 should be more considered an valid option

Agree but they dont offer the heavy load capitcities needed for my 155kg 1.90m. Its so hard to find a durable chair for my needs. Every chair marked at least 180kg break in less then a year for me. And im so done of it. I ordered the Titan evo xl and hope it will be better then the options i had before. A ergonomic chair with the needed capicities would cost me at least 1400€ and the Steelcase Leap Plus even costs 2500€

Had one, uncomfortable chair for me at all 178 cm, 83 kg. Now have mirra 2, much better, but seat needs to be used to though

I recently got the Gabrylly chair but I am not sure if I want to keep it, its causing significantly less back/hip pain than my previous chair, but I am still thinking about the secretlabs titan evo 2022. I know one is a gaming chair and the other is an ergonomic office chair, but would you think that the titan (XL specifically, I'm 6'2") would be an upgrade from the Gabrylly? Apart from slight pain from the seat (I think from the hard plastic frame) my main other complaint is that the headrest is unuseable for me in a position where I can still see my monitor, the headrest seems to only be for reclining whereas the titan looks like the cushion would support your head/neck regardless of chair positioning and still allow you to view the monitor.

I know this might be wasted words but can you recommend any really comfy big chairs for lounging in at the desk? I'm a disabled vet with a really bad back. 6'0" 210 lbs. Sitting with "perfect posture" is very painful. I mainly just game and work at the computer all day and when I game I use a controller due to bad wrists. I'm looking for something that can offer all day sitting comfort with a soft chair, 4D arms, infinite tilt lock, high back/headrest, and a big seat I can cross my legs on. I'm struggling to find any chairs (gaming or office) that offer what I'm looking for that aren't awful to sit in. Bought a 2020 secretlab and the seat hurt so bad to sit in I returned it the following week even though it had every other feature I wanted. I wasn't going to buy a seat cushion for a chair I spent that much money on. Also outside of office max I don't have any physical locations to try out chairs. I know it sounds crazy for someone to not want to sit with every body part perfectly calibrated to 90 degrees for "maximum posture" but I just need help here. Everyone keeps recommending Herman miller Aeron but I don't have that kind of money and that chair isn't what I'm looking for at all. Same goes with the embody but that one is just because of the price. My budget is a max $550. Any input helps i'm just at my wits end here. Thanks

Unfortunately, your budget is way too low for me to recommend any suitable options. Only cheap Chinese gaming chairs can be be found at that price point, and if BTOD say the Titan is the best gaming chair they've ever tested, then it's unlikely that you'll find something better.

The number one thing I see about the Titan is that the foam is too hard. For me, if the side bolsters restrict your movement and it bothers you it's a sign you need to get out of the chair. Ergonomic office chairs are great but it's still unhealthy to remain in a seated position. Having a chair that lets you continue sitting when you want to move around is great for business, not so good for the person sitting in the chair in terms of their health.

The reason they don't share features is because Secretlab is just a distributor. It's hardly a Secretlab chair.

Bought a secret lab chair a few years ago & I would never get another, took forever to break in originally and after time of daily use the breakdown of the chair just seemed to get exponentially worse, arm rest material was breaking down, the seat has become horribly uncomfortable and causes very rough back pain, the back of my legs also suffer. It's just not worth it, better off with anything else

pretty sure most gaming chairs are made in the same Chinese sweatshop factory only with different brands stenciled on them.... according to Steve Burrke of GN, the average cost to build of these Chinese chairs is about $70 bucks.

There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of factories in China producing gaming chairs. It’s insane. I would agree with that cost per chair if we are talking about the better gaming chairs. The chairs for $300 and less will almost certainly cost less than $50 to lake. -Ryan

Hey, love your honest aprotch.. I'm 180cm / 150kg / 42year (a big boy) and i bougth the Titan EVO XL Softweave (Cokkie and Cream) but i'm gona wait 2 months on delivvery.. I'd love for you to evaluate the "XL" "Softweave" (Cokkie and Cream) maybe invite 3 big guys to test it.. Maby ask Secret Lab if they woud consitter offering the tilt mecanisem you like from good office chairs as an aftermarked part for the Titan EVO ?

2 months for delivery??? If you could cancel your order, I'd highly recommend it. Their products are utter garbage and simply adding a synchro tilt option isn't going to fix the major issues with their chairs. Their chairs lack so many useful adjustments and nothing about their chairs is even ergonomic.

@@brightshadowdenmark I wouldn't be telling you that Secretcrap chairs are garbage, if I didn't have any experience with them. 🤦‍♀️ Gaming chairs are a complete waste of money, THAT IS A FACT. You may not be able to find a high quality office chair for the same price as the Titan, but it would still last longer and be more comfortable. The Leap v2 is rated for 180kg too, and if you don't mind getting a refurbished one, it would cost around the same as a brand new Titan. I'd rather be "bitching" about how gaming chairs suck, than feel like an idiot after buying one.

@@btodtv Yep, I've used a Neuechair for a good while now and if you break ANYTHING on it during the warranty, they just straight up exchange a new new chair for the broken one. For my case, I was resting a bit of my weight on the armrest and the clip holding it up just snapped clean off. Incredibly shoddy quality for the price, honestly.

Can you make a video for chairs suitable for slobs like me? Long long hours sitting at the pc. Gaming on a keyboard. Watching movies with legs on a high stool. During hot summers just wearing shorts so material on bare skin is a factor (last part might not be ok for youtube lol).

Get a mesh chair and use a sleeping sheet or something on its back if you don't want to wear a shirt

@@CWSCB For mesh chairs, I can personally recommend the Aeron and Mirra 2. The Cosm is also a good option, but I haven't tried one out yet. Unfortunately, you probably wouldn't be able to get a brand new one for your budget, however you could get a refurbished one.

I wouldn't ever recommend anyone to buy the Titan, it's a terrible chair. Gamers will tell you that it's super comfortable, but I highly doubt the majority of them have even used it for long periods of time over several years. Although, it entirely depends on what office chairs you've been looking at for that price point. Even office chairs can be terrible, especially if you look at the garbage brands.

titan xl for the win. bodybuilder / gamer / futures trader. tried all the high end office chairs. too thin under the rear, causing pain after sitting hours. not so with titan xl. I think my leap chair was made for a 100 lbs secretary. lol. herman miller mesh is horrid. have no idea why people like it, not for me.

I have the Secret Lab Titan and I HATE it. The seat pan is ass deadening. It feels like sitting on a wooden bench. When you look underneath and press on the seat you'll see and feel that it's no more than 1" of really crappy padding that hits directly on the steel frame underneath - and it feels like it. The arms are fine, the back is fine, but the seat which for me is perhaps the most important couldn't be worse. They make you jump through hoops to get an RMA and of course you get the privilege of paying the return shipping. The only way I can use this chair is putting those crappy gel foam pads on top of it to add more cushion. I need to find a good one though. I'm 6'0" and 230lbs.

Had the Neue Chair for close to a Year. Changed to the Embody 1 Week ago and NEVER going back to the Neue Chair. Neue Chair is a realy BAD chair for People that are 190cm +

Both of them are hot garbage, cheap Chinese manufactured trash will never be worth it. The Secretcrap company also has really unreliable reviews on their website and a returns policy is that is absolutely not "hassle-free".

Anything labeled "gaming" is just marketing, nothing more. Even brands like the highly praised (and grossly overrated) Titan brand are cheaply made and come from the same Chinese factory as literally every other gaming chair out there. When compared to even the cheapest office chairs, they simply don't stack up and never have. They're all style and no substance. ALWAYS buy a quality office chair, your back will thank you.
