This is a small Indi studio. They were supposed to release last year but delayed to take time to polish the game. They don't have a huge studio like EA. They will be doing updates. So far it's great

Sucks that CAFs are so badly limited. Your stats are so bad that you can't be competitive no matter who you are fighting. You are forced to make the worst boxer in the game. Tired of offline play always being screwed over just because some kids who play online want the game to be "balanced" for them (i.e. they want to use the best boxer in the game and have easy fights against CAFs with stats that are significantly lower on everything).

I'm very sceptical for the 'full' release of this game. Things that I think from right now with the current build of the game in early access that imo need to be addressed. > Stun window or counter window, its too long > Blocking functionality, clearly not working as intended + Could that be because the game has a serious issue with netcode? > Networking needs to be improved its very laggy > The fighters within the game, simple put not enough to select + Adding to this, there are a fair number but most of these ppl aren't worth picking > Balancing within the game + Some fighters just simply put feel overpowered and have exploits to them i.e. Ali hook spam, Fury spamming jab straight > Clear favoured approach to running jab and move, fighting negatively + This can feel frustrating for many people, it wastes peoples time + There are no mechanics to counter this i.e. inside fighting + This builds further upon the game having a rather linear approach its dependent on the ppl you fight + So overall there is a low skill gap to the game because of this

People just complain to much, I’ve played the game on my pc and will also play it on console. The game is not that bad considering it’s a brand new IP. Yes the game has some issues but people act like it’s the worst game ever created and that’s simply just not true. If the developers stick with it and continue to improve on the foundation they’ve built this game will be very promising. I got a love hate relationship with this game. It’s hard to shake the expectations of Fight Night after faithfully playing fight night and transitioning to the UFC games. But for what this game is (the first licensed boxing game in years) it’s a cool play and more than worth it if you’re a boxing fan. The career mode is good enough and the actual combat is fun. Online is really where the most glaring problem lies. If you fight somebody who’s willing to box with you, the game is fun. But it’s very easy to spam (not unlike fight night tbh). Otherwise the lack of belt entrances, clothing items, etc is noticeable but won’t take you out of the game.

No one has played the final version and plus EA sports was making boxing games since 98 .. FNC is not based off simulation .. this game was built to be more on the sim side than arcade

I bought this game and I think it's great!!!!! Of course it has flaws. For a first game introduction the developers did an amazing job! I wish 2k and Madden would have been this great with their first editions!

Plus Points : - Finally a boxing game for main gaming platforms (pc & consoles) being made after more than a decade and we have an alternative to EA sports games - the devs actually care about the sport & fans, and they listen to the community, unlike EA. they still try to improve and make the game better - Simulation oriented, balanced gameplay, contrary to EA's fast paced, arcadey gameplay - A good pick for you if you are a boxing or combat sports fan, and you get what you see, its not scam like modern EA games - Has current era boxers, which is not available in any other boxing game (except for only Fury & AJ in UFC 4) Down Points : - Gameplay is clunky and animations dont look that great, still some issues with gameplay despite so many patches and fixes - Visuals looks like a mobile game and models look plastic, to be honest - You cant really do much with customization - Roster is limited and doesnt include names like Mike Tyson, Holyfield, Foreman, Pacquiao, Tank Davis, AJ etc - Seems unlikely that it will surpass Fight Night series

Been playing since day one of early release and I'll say the i haven't gotten to play the final product just like everyone else. If i had to give the current state of it a rating I'd give it a 6/10. Hopefully the final product will bring that rating a little higher.
