Chronograph stats for the Statical using a 14.5gr pellet, 341 fps and 3.78 ft/lbs.

Needs an overhaul matey , I have identical gun that I bought last September from a collector in norfolk and it’s also in .22 and delivers a very consistent 8.5 ftlb with 14.5 gr accupell

@@philforbes7467 I agree. I suspect it needs new seals, the barrel was very clean so I imagine it has been sat for years and not used.

@@philforbes7467 What a great collection 👍👍👍 I think the Statical is the most interesting but I would also like a Paratrooper, just a little unusual.

Very nice looking rifle Alan. I do like the grain structure in the stock. Overall in superb condition. Nice shooting too. Cheers Nobby

Yes, I was very lucky with this one Nobby. The shooting is more down to the rifle than the shooter! Cheers, Alan.

As I said in the video, there is not much about them on the internet at all. Not sure why as they were made for 10 years you would think there would be a few videos and blog posts.

Gamo.....an old brand, must be at least 50+ years here in Australia Alan - Cheers Jim

Hi Jim. Yes they have been around for a very long time, still making air guns today. I didn't realise it but apparently they are the largest manufacturer of air guns in Europe. Cheers, Alan.

saves shoulder damage then Alan if recoiless😉😉👍👍 must be similar to those at the old fairgrounds from what i remember🤔🤔 atb Kev
@RetroSteamTech6 күн бұрын
Not only that Kev but it's much easier to shoot the rifle accurately if it doesn't jump when you fire it. Some of the old fairground rifles were powered by compressed air, which would also give you a recoilless action. Cheers, Alan.

Yeah I can remember the air powered machine guns at the fair where you had to try 2 shoot a star out of a target

I would really like a Paratrooper, I believe they did both a repeater and a single shot version. I wasn't aware that they were recoilless though.
