This seems to be one of the most requested videos and I am crossing my fingers that Nordic hamstring curls are included, as well as reverse hyperextensions because one makes the landing more resilient on your knees and the other one creates more force production to propel you forward

whats the best route to developing kettlebell clean and strict press.... thanks
@LatimusChadimus
@LatimusChadimus Жыл бұрын
Well there are two routes but you have to understand timing the Kettlebell because you don't want it to crash into your forearm, you want to know when to turn it in the air so that your arm patche is it and it doesn't catch her arm, one would be getting used to swinging it and noticing when it naturally turns when you point your fist down and then the other one would be getting used to driving it up vertically by using the goblet squat with a dumbbell. Once you understand the transition and the vertical drive you can then put a kettlebell on the ground drive it up and clean it. The snatch will be a little bit different because you will be blending the vertical drive and the extension through your lower traps so you can also practice that with a dumbbell

I have a question for your Tuesday LifeStream, I have watched many many channels over the years and I can't remember how I came across your channel but did you know you do a really really good job with breaking everything down and then finding ways to solve the problems or needs of everyone?

great video thank you what should my split be to become faster?
@Messup7654
@Messup7654 Жыл бұрын
No split find exercises and do them I’d say Nordic curls hip thrust squats lightly loaded jump squats then power cleans
@Messup7654
@Messup7654 Жыл бұрын
You have to mix in your max strength things like heavy squats or trap bar deadlifts and hip thrust then you do power heavy and light power cleans hang cleans and. Light hip thrust then speed and power which is pylometricswhich are usually just jumps and hops

For combat sports, training barefoot, would it be advantageous to also do strength training, or at least plyo/athletic day, barefoot, or in barefoot/minimalistic shoes, to develop more foot strength?

Try to focus on just controlling the eccentric (Down Part) of the movement. Lower yourself down at a nice, slow, controlled speed. When you get to the bottom you can then use your arms to help push yourself up. Having more bend in your hips will also make the exercise easier. Then over time as you get stronger you can focus on getting rid of the bend in your hips and making your form stricter.

Today I run for the first time in 11 months, gassed out after 960m, then my lungs were hurting for 15 min. Feel terrible + wind in the ears!! I used to be good at running in my football days…

how do i maintain my strength from my max strength cycle, and my power from my power cycle, when i'm in my elastic cycle? (in vertical jump training)
@Messup7654
@Messup7654 Жыл бұрын
Training strength atleast once a week and power too but if your still jumping elastic training your strength and power won’t go down at the most your strength will decrease by a tiny bit
