If it looks cool yes. Make sure it's operator but not too operator. For example, multicam hat is too much. LA hat, or NY hat is too casual. Now, LAFD, NYFD etc etc is the perfect level of operator. Also if it looks dusty - the dust acts as level IV ballistic protection.

The Crye Precision AirFrame is very nice. The light weight definitely helped out with my back problems. I also had fewer headaches at the end of the day from breaching than I had with the MICH helmet. That opening at the top really helps out. Another draw back from the AirFrame is that it falls short in the crush test than the Ops-Core and MICH. When you put it on you feel like Dark Helmet from Spaceballs. But it also looks cool! So super plus there. Didn't stick around long enough to get the Ops-Core. But I started off with the old helmet with just a chinstrap and old suspension band, then up to the Marine Corps modified headband suspension band, then to the MICH. The AirFrame was like a gift from the Gods! Money well spent on that one. Great Video.

I really like what he says at the end about wearing your helmet for prolonged periods of time, I want to say I am not an operator, and I have never worked with operators, however, I have spent the last 6 years working on the flight gear for fighter pilots including their helmets and oxygen masks and at home they’ll fly a few hours at a time a couple times a week and be super happy with how their helmets and masks fit and then we’d go out on deployment and they’d have to wear their helmets and masks for much longer intervals and after one or two flights they’d start coming to us to get things refit because they start noticing hotspots where it’s causing discomfort. But of course Plaid Daddy reviews operator level equipment for guys who are only going to be operating at the local airsoft field.

I use a couple of the standard Army issue ACH from ArmorSource. They don't look as cool, but you can usually pick one up for $200 or under and still get decent ballistic protection, but you are better off getting an aftermarket retention system than the standard one, like Team Wendy. Then you add rails, a RHINO and velcro for your patches to look a little bit cooler.

When their bones in the ocean forever will be Plot a course to the night to a place I once knew To a place where my hope died along with my crew So I swallow my grief and face life's final test To find promise of peace and the solace of rest As the songs of the dead fill the space of my ears Their laughter like children, their beckoning cheers My heart longs to join them, sing songs of the sea I remember the fallen, do they think of me? When their bones in the ocean forever will be When at last before my ghostly shipmates I stand I shed a small tear for my home upon land Though their eyes speak of depths filled with struggle and strife Their smiles below say I don't owe them my life As the souls of the dead fill the space of my eyes And my boat listed over and tried to capsize I'm this far from drowning, this far from the sea, I remember the living do they think of me? When my bones in the ocean forever will be Now that I'm staring down at the darkest abyss I'm not sure what I want but I don't think it's this As my comrades call to stand fast and forge on I make sail for the dawn 'til the darkness has gone As the souls of the dead live for'er in my mind As I live all the years that they left me behind I'll stay on the shore but still gaze at the sea I remember the fallen and they think of me For our souls in the ocean together will be I remember the fallen and they think of me, For our souls in the ocean together will be

BURT and EARNIE? They definitely have thier inner cordon on Sesame Street very well squared away. If you hold a TS clearance you may very well know B&E did just recently came out of the closet. Don't ask, don't tell. Copy that GI GUMBY? All BS aside, we love you Daddy Grand. Keep up the good Intel!!!

Dude, I just recently accidentally stumbled across your channel and have now watched your PC and warbelt setup videos. Very informative stuff, but i have a question regarding this helmet video. What kind of stuff should be put in the counterweight pouch? I only have experience with the Finnish Defence Forces helmet, which is basically a version of PASGT.

I ended up swapping out my 3A helmet for a bump helmet, one the weight sucks for any long period of time, and two mobility would be more important to me if ever I did need to bug

You've made a subscriber out of me! All your stuff makes sense! If you don't mind me asking, what's your background? Just curious where you've obtained all this knowledge from and how pertinent it is.

Does the headset come with the helmet mounts or do you have to get them separately, and also i see those types of headsets they always have a headband, can you take that off?

John B no sir, they do not. 3m makes arc rail adaptors for their peltors you can buy separately. Installation is super easy, just requires unclipping the ear cups, slicing out the headband and routing the wires any way you see fit
