Garcia Bronco .22Lr single shot. HEY! I got this old used gun.

I bought one of these in 22LR in the BX at Malmstrom Airplane Patch about 1974 for about $22 or so. I put it in the ceiling of my Bronco and put grouse in the pot with it when we'd go camping and hunting there in Montana and home in Idaho. Fella offered me a shiny new Buck 119 for it, I needed a good knife, and we made a trade, both walked away with smiles on our faces. There are times I would like to have that little rifle back! Nice video! Brought back memories.

I remember those. $29 sounds about right. Wasn't the Garcia a modern version of a rifle from the 1800's called a "Quakenbush"? I remember seeing one in an old Gun Digest my dad had. Anyway, neat little video that proves it don't have to be fancy to be a good rifle. Thanks for showing it to us. =)

The one I have says , Firearms International . Before Garcia bought them . Got it from a old timer at a gun show here in San Antonio, my boys always went to his tables to see what he had . The day we bought it , my youngest ask "what have you shot with it , he said a rat " . So it became know as the rat gun. Probably one of the most talked about gun I own . those boys have put a lot of rounds through it . By the way we gave 75$ 17 years ago .

My best friends dad had one back in the day. What a light and handy rifle for camping and just knocking around the woods. Great video sir.

Firearms International, who built them for Garcia also made some sketchy shit for the CIA. Mine cost 19.95 in 1971.

I remember these from back when I was a kid. As cheap as they were, they really didnt have many problems and tended to work just fine. It would be nice to see a company bring this design back. It could be made just a little more up to date and still sell for less than 100 beans

First time I've seen that. Strange but fascinating. Extremely minimalist. You could squirrel it away anywhere, like behind a bookshelf that's nearly up against the wall. It's like some kind of specialized James Bond firearm that he's pieced together.
