Courtney Love your Beautiful garden! We Love squash "boats". Cut in half a yellow squash or Zucchini, hollow out the inside Put butter in the " boat" and bake at 375° for about 12 minutes remove from oven and fill with Taco meat and cheese on top. Bake about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Great start! I just wanted to tell you, how we cook our Zucchini in the summer. two of my favorite ways are, one slice in long strips about 1 to 1/2 inches thick coat both sides in olive oil, or butter then, sprinkle both sides with garlic salt cook on the grill until tender. the other way is to cut in round pieces same thickness. use egg to coat in flour with your favorite spice's garlic, onion salt, pepper, just what you like use lots or it will only taste like flour. Dip in egg then in flour and fry until very tender and brown, promise you'll love both ways.

Everything is looking great! It’s always a good idea to do a soil test when you’re starting a new garden. They are free from your local Cooperative Extension office. Just go pick up the boxes and follow the instructions. When you return the samples, about a month later you’ll know if your soil is lacking anything or needs tweaking. Your pantry will be full of homegrown goodness this winter! Blessings…daisy

One of the ways I like to use zucchini is zoodles. So yummy. I think I am going to try freeze drying them this year so I can enjoy them in the winter!

Weeds can actually steal nutrients. So if some things are struggling, weeding can help!
