Hi, I recently I replaced my HPS light to the Gavita Led 1930e, and A week later I notice plants branch is turning purple, is this the sign my plant getting too much light? Distance from light to plant is 3 feet, flowering stage week 5 , Day temperatures 75-77, night temperatures 69-71, VPD 1.3-1.5 , I have low ceiling, the room is very bright when the light is on , thank you

on my fourth grow now got spider mites last go round. Had some clones in my extra bath room shower and just left them Wow these guys had huge buds. No AC just a fan and a light in the damn shower if it got to humid I turned on the ceiling fan. Best grow Ive had so far. You dont need to spend alot to produce just grow correctly. dont over water less is best....

I use a vivisun 4--4--8 ft tent, a 510 watt Parafax high output Led light and has 6 separate channels of lights, 1080 individual LEDs. This light emits very little heat with lights filling the 4x4 space. This is better results that when I used a 600 watt HPS. MORE LIGHT, LESS HEAT = better results bigger buds. I used the 600 watt HPS for 20 years this is much better.

I used to blast my babies with a high amount of light and wondered why they would always show signs of nute deficiencies or toxicities. The moment I lowered my brightness setting to between 25% to max 50% at 16 inches, my plants have been showing off! The ladies spend a lot of time correcting themselves instead of glowing when the lights are too bright. 💚💚🌱🌱

Auto flowers really solve the lighting problems all the way around.I start and finish in the same tent with the led set to full with no issues.fox farm dirt all the way and go low on the nutrients.I used food maybe twice in the veg and 3 times in flower autos just don’t need the extra crap.with watering I never use enough to get run off and use the same amount once a day or every other day making sure to allow it to dry out an inch or two from the top.I’ll clear 2 plus oz a plant this run with a beautiful fade going on now.I think environments play a big role in what works for an individual person.I also don’t worry about vpd and never checked the par ever.this doesn’t need to be as scientific as some make it out to be.as always another great show appreciate the time you put into these.

VPD is a makeup of 3 FACTORS room temp, Humidity, and leaf temp. When you say there are a lot of charts there is only one good place in my opinion and that's Dim lux VPD calculator so if your leaf temp is 1 degree warmer than room temp then the RH is going to be different @ 80 degrees then it will be if it were 80 degrees and the leaf temp was 1 degree cooler. Dim Lux lighting has a whole system for VPD which includes a heat signature camera for the leaf surface temp and it makes adjustments automatically to lights or humidity to bring you back to optimum, it's really not hard to understand it's just hard to implement. I hope you find that information informative, as I suck at explaining things.

It would be interesting to make a comparison between the led cree cxb 3590 vs quantum board. So far, I can't find a video on this subject, how and it seems to me that the cree is superior. Thanks.

Gday Chris,I loved the video. One of my friends is trying to get me to run the lights in a 8 on 4 off twice a day change, is there any benefit, his statement is the plant can only do its thing for 8 hrs then shuts off, is there any truth to this.

Been having weird issues with my outdoor tomato crop and they love the rain for some reason, it seemed to fix them... so I tested my tap water at 8.5 Ph..... problem discovered. Rain water must have been flushing them. That's Almost not safe to drink at 8.5
