I got to meet the drummer and the vocalist/guitarist for this band and they were super chill people. They were on tiny club tour with Gatecreeper and it was great. I've been listening to Death Metal for more than half my life now (I'm almost 32) and I gotta say--this is the healthiest Death Metal as a genre has ever been.

My friends and I used to smoke weed and run down there and buy snacks and if we were lucky enough to see him talk to him about metal. Super rad guy. It's crazy how he ended up in one of my favorite death metal bands.

Ohio has had a solid metal community for a long time. Back in the early 2000s In Chillicothe we had Woe of Tyrants, then in the early 2010s Shall be the Conqueror. I've been out of the local metal scene since my last band broke up in 2017, so I'm not sure what's going on down here now.
