To dip balls in melted chocolate use disposable forks. Break out the 2 centre tines of 2 forks, then use them to manipulate the balls into the chocolate. It allow excess chocolate to drain off and you dont have to stick them with a tooth pick :)

Good morning:) I’ve learned that margarine is not for baking. (Bummer because it’s way cheaper) also, when I make chocolate chip cookies, i put what I can on the pan and while they’re cooking I keep the rest in the fridge. I’m no expert, but thought I’d share. Love your videos and praying for your family. Keep shining your light❤ much love from Indiana

Margarine contains way more water. Gotta use real butter. I scoop my cookies, then refrigerate b4 I bake. Going to start mine on Monday. Can't wait! Thats so funny saying you're talking to yourself. I never think of that. I feel like you're talking right to me. I just can't talk back. Believe me, we'd NEVER stop..haha! Merry Christmas

Good morning Amy, Had lots of fun with you today and laughed along with you. Glad making cookies brought up beautiful memories of the kids being tots and looking for cookies if not cutting out n decorating them. So fond memories of your childhood too. Christmas does that for you. 😊😊😊 All the cookies look absolutely yummy and since I’m a coconut lover, you would have to hide them from me, 😂😂😂. Hope all the kids had a festive, fun and fabulous weekend and of course you too….. Thank you for todays reading from the Romans, Amen…..how very true we come to learn.. Have a fantastic and blessed day. See you tomorrow.

Spritz cookies are the kind of cookie that you would use a cookie press for. They are like sugar cookies without frosting. We are going to make cut out sugar cookies today. I EXACTLY how you said to do cut out cookies. Mix dough 1st day, 2nd day back and later that night or next day we decorate them.

We have a local chocolate shop that takes the bigger knot pretzels and makes chocolate dipped pretzels. They always get broken pretzels in the bag, since that is inevitable, so they lay them out on wax paper and do as you said. They use the chocolate and just sort of drizzle it over the pretzel pieces and they turn out delicious. They would just put them in a container or bag and sell them. You could do that with the little pretzels too. They would use white, dark and milk chocolate.

Have also learned the chic chip cookies so much better with butter, and yes, keep everything cold. Heard somewhere that if the cookies are too warm they start to melt instead of bake at first? Basically warm dough causes “squatty” cookies? I have some recipes with a pudding mix and they are the best!! Maybe you can internet search for something like that Sooo gonna make those coconut balls!!

Good morning. You got lots of different types of goodies done in a short period of time. I laugh though when you were doing the balls because I know that you rolling out small balls is torturous for you. Although the line is when you dump them in the chocolate was an ingenious idea. I've been doing similar type balls for years and years and years and we used a candy Loop that help drain most of the extra chocolate off as you could and is still chocolate pulled at the bottom.. Not my favorite thing to do either. Although making chocolate chip cookies is also a torture for me. I'm not a roll the ball kind of person. I hope everything taste as well as it looked. And I hope you have a fabulous Friday and a great weekend and I will see you tomorrow

Amy, it's not the warmth of your kitchen that's flattening your chocolate chip cookies, it's the butter. The solution: shortening! Sub half of the butter for shortening. The cookies are fluffier, and don't spread like they do with all butter.

Our young kids have a blast at our Catholic children’s liturgy in our Parish. Bible Crafts and activities happen all the time. They’ve even brought a donkey to visit on Palm Sunday! Sorry to hear that your experience (when you were young) was not engaging. It takes dedicated volunteers to make any program good! It’s only as good as the leadership & talent.

Hi. Amy. I make those peanut butter blossom cookies but find a whole kiss is too much chocolate (and at one time too expensive) so I use 3 milk chocolate morsels instead. I freeze them which gives me a little more time to get them on the cookie without melting them in my hands. If your chocolate chip cookies are flat, put the batter in the refrigerator for a while. Have a great holiday. Hugs💕

In place of cocoa powder for my no-bakes, I use hot chocolate mix. An actual buckeye has the 2 different colors...the chocolate wouldn't cover the whole thing.

I could not tell if you used butter, I think it makes cookies spread out and do not hold together. Chilled dough does help but i use butter flavor crisco for the best cookies. I rarely use butter even if the recipe calls for it in a cookie. I change it to crisco. Just a thought

You can bake cookies or brownies in medium or large cupcake tins to prevent spread and keep them soft and chewy. Also always butter 🧈 never margarine. Next time put all the coconut 🥥 ones in one color liner & the other in the other color so it’s easier for people at the party who can’t eat coconut.
