I have gay friends and lesbian friends and would give all LGBT people all of the rights in world, but because of my religion, just can't accept them the right of marriage. But I won't let the government dictate how people should live their lives because of my religion. I think that's what I believe now. Thank you Colin. As a gay man, who is married, I thank you both for your enlightened and very intelligent stance on gay marriage and rights. Although I lam a Canadian, I am also half American. Canada has had gay marriage across the country since 2005, I wish the US would catch up already.

As a European I don 't understand the homophobic mindset of a "modern" western region like the USA, here in Belgium gay marriage and adoptation are allowed for a vertrek long time. It's shocking to see how narrowminded some people are!

I really don't give a shit if they do or not, but people have a right to their own opinion. I can't say I would go out and support gay rights, or that I'm against it, they should be able to do what they want but keep me out of it.

I share a similar train of thought with Phil Robertson: I don't believe homosexuality is right, I don't believe gay marriage is right, but its not our job to combat it. My main problem is that the LGBT community will attack you and call you a bigot if you even have a differing opinion on it than they do.

Little story, where I live in a small town in the Western Isles of Scotland there is a man that walks round with a tshirt that reads "God hates divorce.....and so do I!" Now I've wanted to challenge this man but can't due to my job in a small town. But what I would ask is, "Is it better that a child is brought up in a violent family situation than a divorced family with a caring, loving single parent?" A child doesn't need a mum, a child doesn't need a dad...it needs love no matter the gender

i did the same thing greg until someone pointed out that i could be insulting people that are gay or lesbians by using "that's gay" to point out something i didn't like. I never considered what i was actually saying when i did that and stopped immediately after.

Someone anti-gay, once proposed an interesting thought to me, as ridiculous as it sound. He said, that if it's OK for gays to marry, why wouldn't it be OK for four people to commit to a group marriage if they all agreed? It would basically be the same thing. I refused to change my beliefs on gay people, so I now I just believe that group marriages should be OK. Love to hear your thoughts everyone.

1) Third party devs will always make a game for the lowest setting -- look at last gen. Power doesn't matter that much on 3rd party titles, it's the exclusives that make use of that. 2) Me.

Colin's right and everyone who thinks there's anything inherently wrong with anything needs to wake up and realise we're all just floating specks who want our ride to be as comfortable as possible. I dunno why people would waste their time complaining about or campaigning against something that will never affect them anyway. Just relax and let what happens happen.

This is a great episode and topic. I don't know if Greg and Colin purposely researched the topic before filming but I'm really impressed with your -especially Colin's- knowledge of politics and political history. A marriage equality bill was just passed in my state; Hawaii. As a fake priest and real marriage officiant, I can't wait to wed a same-sex couple.

I'm a Christian. I believe homosexuality is sinful but not that people go to hell for being homosexual. I believe that until we accept Jesus as our savior and our Lord, everyone is destined to hell. I believe that accepting Jesus has transformative power and someone who is gay that accepts Jesus will eventually change their ways. I'm not pro gay marriage but I don't think we as Christians should tell gay people what to do until they come to know Jesus. He will change them.

Thanks for the conversation. Great topic. Colin mentions the dominoes falling and injects marijuana legalization. That is a topic idea all on it's own. In Louisiana, prisons are privatized. 2/3 of all inmates in La. are serving time for marijuana crime. If marijuana is legalized in La then 2/3 of the workforce is lost, in one of the state's largest industries. It seems like a good topic for Colin.

I'm a liberal but I wish that Republicans like Colin would make their way back into the party. It would even make it an option for me to vote Republican in some elections. However, being gay myself I currently can't see myself voting for a party who so openly opposes who I am. Again, I hope that Republicans with common sense and logical views as Colin's take back the party in the best future. Great video and I thank you guys for contributing your two cents to the right side of history. :-)

The description says it all. Ignorance is the primary factor in the kind of archaic thinking that even leads to debates about gay rights in the first place. Stop separating humans into little categories. Forget about gay rights or straight rights. What about human rights? I am a straight male. I support Human Rights, which by extension, includes the right for gay people to get married, adopt a kid, grow disenchanted with each other and eventually get divorced the same as every other 'Murican.
