Bless you for doing this song justice! I think it’s more happy and fun sounding than the final circuit theme. It’s so awesome to have a clean version! I’d say that small section around 0:57 sounds a bit empty though, perhaps it’s missing a backing string?

It’s a beta track from Mario Kart Super Circuit. The only version of the song to ever surface as of today is a crusty version recorded live in the early 2000s with someone voicing over it lol.
