Cleaning ventilation fans with compressed air can push the fans beyond their intended rpm and burn out the motor, unlikely but its much safer to open the computer and hold them while you clean

I really wouldn't recommend to use the Compartment in your desk at all. It basically suffocates your PC if it isn't open at the back and front. Especially if you have a high-end System that is designed for gaming. These things can serve as a space heater.

@@helloworld4378 A free, open space with at least 15-20 cm room in each direction. Put it on your desk or under your desk. If you have carpet under you desk, place the PC on a couple of books or wood to lift if up from the carpet. (3-4cm should be enough.)

okay you open up the case... okay now get some compressed air and blow rhe sh*t out of it. BUT be carefull not to spin the fans please for the love of god hold them otherwise if they spin a lot they might get damaged.

The monitor is here shown as being cleaned with a soft cloth moistened with water in a vertical and circular motion. Is a horizontal motion, left to right, right to left, advised against? Or isn't the motion important as long as a soft cloth is used, and the lightest of pressure applied? Thanks guys
