Pushed down on switch numerous times without opening it up and it's now lighting up and working. May need to do more work on it, but at least I know it's not the costly control board. Thanks for giving me the "lay of the land".

I have this exact dishwasher. I heard an audible pop while it was cycling, not sure which cycle, it tripped the breaker, I reset breaker, checked the door switch is good, I have continuity on both switchs. I have 120 volts present at board and F1 (fuse) is good. any recommendation would be greatly appreciated. I'm not sure which wires are for the heating element and motor so I did not check.

I have a newer GE dishwasher. I don’t have a any lights on the panel. I bought a new panel and still no lights. Door switch seems like it works. I only used it a few months

You checked for power on the black wires and had it. I presume it would not have power on the white wires of the switch unless the switch was activated. I have same problem, power in black wires... nothing in white wire. I depressed my switch and still nothing in white wires. This would indicate a bad switch, correct? Since if the switch was working I would have current through the white wires while depressing the switch and my detector would be buzzing at me (same type you used in video).

Follow up... I ordered a new switch for my triton dishwasher. There are two switches inside the part. Both have a little black button that gets depressed when the door is closed. The switch on the white wires was broken and no longer functions. So replaced the entire unit and it works. $15 part...

It's a non contact AC voltage tester. Under $20 at any hardware store.

I'm having the exact same issue. The switch is intact so it doesn't seem like buying a new one would fix the issue. It seems like age of the dishwasher (mine is 4.5 years old) and bad engineering is just taking it out of alignment. Does the new part fix the issue?

I have same dishwasher i reset it from circuit box held heated dry button 3s and held delay hours and normal wash button together and nothing when reset from breaker box lights come on for about 1m then blinks out dead while lights are on it will not switch to different settings nor will it start.. lights are stuck on normal wash and delay hours settings for about 1m then everything blinks out then I rest from breaker box help please if you can thx
