Where can I get this part for this GRE model stove I can’t find any?

I tried to do this for a frigidaire range and the receptacle keeps burning. Literally turns to ash every month. Any idea how to fix this?

I had some sparking & loud pops before i knew what was going on, i removed the heating coil but the terminal block is burnt & lucky the house didnt burn down. I ordered new receptacle kits (4) and coils & drip pans (figured might as well). my question is: Is there a way i can use just one of the burners while the fried one is still in place or should I cut off the terminal block while I wait for the parts to be delivered (which may take 10 days to get here )?? there's only so much I can do with a crock pot & an air fryer. thanks!

I would remove the element and the knob from the burnt one while you'd wait for new parts to arrive. Removing the element tells everyone that this one is not working (daaa) and removing the knob prevents someone to turn it on (providing electricity to the receptacles).

Is there a positive and negative for the wires?
@repairclinic7 жыл бұрын
No polarity so it does not matter which way the wires are connected to the new block as long as they are the correct two wires. Thanks!
