Gear Review: Condore Bushlore Bushcraft Survival Knife
Today we take a look at the Bushlore by Condor. This is a fantastic bushcraft, survival, camping, or sportsman knife. While it doesn't do everything perfectly this knife does a lot well. It's a got a 1/8" 90 degree spine, a flat grind, a 4in blade and a great handle.
This knife will handle anything you throw at it. Batoning, ferro rod, feather sticking, carving trigger sets. Whatever you need to do this knife will do it. For $40 this knife is a beast!

You’ve gotta trust a knife review from a dude with a beard like that. Lol. Great review. I’m considering the micarta handle version. I love a good scandi grind too. This knife however is around $75 on Amazon.ca. That kinda gets up there in price for us for what’s considered a good “budget” bushcraft knife.

I'm getting one in my EDC gear. My question is this. What can I use to protect the blade so it won't get rusty?. Please let me know. I just joined your website. Great video's and I will learn a lot. Thank you Bro. Merry Christmas.

Michael Kish I always force a patina on my carbon blades using vinegar. .You’ll still need to maintain and keep a thin coat of oil on carbon but this will help.

I own a Bushlore knife and have watched several reviews of it. I see everyone describing it's specs, the nice handle & sheath, how tough it is. batoning, making feather sticks and ferro-rod striking. However, I've yet to watch anyone address it's "handle heavy" issue when hung from a belt. Mine immediately swings out from my hip, which makes it very awkward to carry or draw from its sheath. Any mods for this issue?

Daily Heah, and Happy Eastern. Yeah, If only it was made in the same steel as my Blind Horse Bushcrafter Steel, I then would buy it. I see how my friends Bushlore keeps up with us guys that have higher content carbon knives. Even against 440c. Yeah, that would work. What if you suggested 440c. or better yet 154 C M or how about 420HC. I have the Wilderness Tool which is in the 520HC and that's not that bad of camp knife to use in the bush, but not very practical to do intricate work like I'm sure the Bushlore would be. So that's my $00.02 on the Bushlore. Change the Steel, The knife other wise looks good.,,.

+paulie 4x I've never personally had a problem with 1075. Most of the knives I own are either 1095 or 420HC though. However the bushlore keeps up fine with them. Thank you for watching! :)

I'm not trying to be rde, But yeah, there is a big difference when my friends that own Condors bring their Woodlaw and Keoharts with theirs, and I bring like my Blind Horse O1 Bushcrafter or my Benchmade Bushcrafter #162 in the S30V, Yeah, both are harder to sharpen in the bush, But mine will last at least a full day if hair popping sharolp when they are always sharping theirs on rods and DC 4's. No its not a big problem. But Condor makes some beautiful designed profiles, I could imagine if they would start using a 1095 CroVan very few knife makers use that steel. It's inexpensive but hikes a great edge compare to 1075.,,.

A warning to canadians watching this video, the knife is double that price (after conversion) on amazon.ca. Real shame.
