Thanks for the Review and Feedback! We're glad your positive instinct at our Computex booth didn't disappoint :) We will keep working hard to bring out even better products, while we are working relentlessly to expand our global availability after having focussed on the European market for roughly the past decade.

@@chieftec_official will the removal of the logo at the front always result in scratches? Nick removed it in the video and the front panel was damaged
@chieftec_official6 ай бұрын
@@EnergeticTK - Thanks for the question. It shouldn't damage the front panel. I believe what you see in the video is just leftover glue from the double-sided tape that is used to stick the aluminium logo to the case.

@chieftec_official kudos for the case. Hardly to find minimalistic matx cases nowadays.

Mate, you are right about Chieftec 20 yrs ago. Build quality is solid. I sold my old one and never find another brand quality comparable

Super cool case side panel effects in the "Build it baby"!

Criticisms seemed fair and advantageous to both the customer and consumer. I think the front panel could use some asthetic changes personally, but it does stand out with its current style. Can't really be mad at the price, just wish we knew how to get our hands on it.

Nice video man. Nice case also!

Very nice to see a case with a perforated steel side panel and where the power supply does not block air flow to the GPU. However, the case does not seem to be suitable for air cooling since the front intake appears to be restricted and the power supply is in the way of air supply to an air cooler. Hopefully, there will be other Chieftech cases where the power supply is in a second chamber, ample air intake is enabled through the front, and the air cooler height requirements aren't quite as tight.

Is this the same layout/case as the Jonsbo d30/gamemax spark but rebranded?

@@RafitoOoO true, but now we know the jonsbo d30 mods work here aswell, such as bending the psu mounting tabs to fit a 280mm rad

It has Power AND HDD LEDs, instant winner in my book. The HDD LED is pretty much an afterthought now and I like knowing if the computer is doing something.

You never do anything fun Nick! 🤣 Just kidding, good job as usual ✌I wish someone would make a case in this form factor, but a tiny bit longer and tiny bit wider. I like my 140mm fans and 280 radiators ... and I feel like mATX cases that support those sizes are basically just regular midtower sized.

AFAIK comments I read about it tell us its a very solid D30 clone, with improved GPU handling, and some slight airflow issues with the top, which apparently is easily fixed with scissors (yes, exactly; quote from r/mffpc). Was considering this for a build when they did a news release, but it took so long to be actually available (in Europe!), that by now I've moved on to the A4-H2O and S396 mod (S300 modded to accommodate a 240 AIO). cu, w0lf.

Looks like a nice enough case, though I usually prefer top-mounted "front" I/Os and buttons - plus, there really should be a second USB-A. Otherwise, this looks like a very good case indeed which I would consider using for one of my systems.
