Great progress. 145lbs - 170lbs in 4 years. That's 6.25 lbs per year, around 2.8 kgs per year of lean muscle mass. That is what being a natural looks and results in. Expect 2-3 kgs of lean muscle per year. Anything more than that is very unrealistic. Roid takers can get 10kgs in a 12 week cycle and when they come off keep around 6kgs. That would mean they can do in 3 months what took someone like Austin 2 years to do naturally! Stay informed kids! :)))))
@CollineinfachCollinex6 жыл бұрын
Well, I gained around 11 kg in my first year of lifting and I'm leaner than I started. And I'm no genetic freak or roid user or anything
@LondonConfidential6 жыл бұрын
@@CollineinfachCollinex That is extremely unlikely and you have not understood what sort of weight you've put on. I have no doubt you put on 11kgs in weight from the first day til the last day you weighed yourself. However most of it was 1. carb load/glycogen reserves/extra food in your muscles 2. water 3. 5-6 lbs of muscle 4. fat. If you were extremely skinny to begin with you can fill out your ribs for example with fat and still look lean. Also how old are you? You look young and if you are under 21 then some of the weight gain is just your bones growing and has nothing to do with bodybuilding. Lastly did you weigh your in the morning or at night because most people are up to 2kgs heavier at night than in the morning which would account for some of the supposed miscalculation. Also make sure you when you weigh yourself that you are wearing the same minimal clothing ie. just shorts and not full clothing eg. jeans with coins in them, which will add weight to the scales.
@anishpatel41696 жыл бұрын
Lon A u can’t gain 2-3 kg per year: muscle doesn’t grow at the same rate per year. U will put way more muscle on the first year and each year it will decrease by half of what it was last year.
@LondonConfidential6 жыл бұрын
@@anishpatel4169 Anish you are 100% correct! It is likely that the first year will be the most (noobie gains) and each subsequent year there will be diminishing returns. I was just stating the median/average of Austins 4 year stated transformation. Of course one can't do 2-3 kgs for life as then one could end up being 300kgs of muscle by 70 years old. After a few years (7 + years) one would be lucky to even gain 1kg of muscle per year.

You should never stick to a certain "style"(even if it fits you lol).Bodybuilders do not have overall control over their body as do the ones who do calisthenics.But also,if you only,and only do calisthenics,you might as well "lag" a bit with some of your muscles(shoulders and biceps most notably).

Shoulders and biceps ? They’re like the most easily build able ones with callisthenics. Hard places to grow are more like legs and rear delts
@bujarshabaj72126 жыл бұрын
C Xxx Can't agree with you there. You can't really isolate your biceps when doing calisthenics.Yeah,chin-ups are good,but you don't really work your biceps only.Your back does the majority of the work...You still need to lift weights,so you can target both of your heads,along with the brachialis. You can't do that by doing chin-ups and/or pull-ups only.That's a fact...

Herbi D Doing calisthenics "for fun" and being a gymnast is not same.Not at all.They do various kinds of shit that no normal human can do.And since they use their hands most of the time(better say ALL the time),you can of course expect their biceps to be pretty massive.

nice to see this vid austin. I remember watching your first calisthenics body transformation. (also your tech review video before you started calisthenics lol). It's great to see you come this far. You have inspired me to work out. Keep up the great work man!

U progress abnormaly fast even in the first few months.. Genetiks
@sami_rashid19966 жыл бұрын
Nah bro, hardwork > Genetics... I trained with strict nutrition and training and I got in crazy shape in a month. So just train hard and results will come
@scienz5 жыл бұрын
@@sami_rashid1996 did you ever think that maybe u have complimentary genetics too?
@sami_rashid19965 жыл бұрын
@scienz tbh I started as an obese kid but had the motivation to learn all the basic excercises, this is where I build some muscle and developed them. Not mentioning the year I did this for which had gotten my body used to working out hard. Then the month I became really strict mentally and did calisthenics then got to a really low body fat %, this is where all my results showed. Everyone's different, genetics or not, I definitely wouldn't have achieved this with out putting my mind to it
@Danneman923 жыл бұрын
@@sami_rashid1996 If you got in a "crazy shape" in just one month, you without a single doubt got good genetics, my friend. If you actually believe that's attainable for everyone with only hard work, then you're honestly a bit naive mate, and probably a little ignorant as well. Also, genetics DO play a massive role. It's the determing factor how fast you gain muscle, and how big you can become. And about your last message: People who gain weight easily, typically gain muslces easily too. Just look at strongmen. The top strongmen are typically de facto clinically obese, but they're absurdly strong. A mix of *genetics* and hardwork.

Lol i do that rarely,i mostly mew to change my face tone ;)
@cooliodiablo61175 жыл бұрын
Mewing is such b.s. lol. You can’t change your facial structure by tongue posture...Your facial structure is determined by how the muscles of your face rest on the bones. Just look at what it takes to straighten teeth, a whole lot of metal being twisted tighter and tighter to get your bones to move. Yet you believe just flexing your tongue is going to rearrange your facial structure....Yea alright, good luck with that 👍

coolio diablo the tongue is the strongest muscle in the body, any tension on bone will alter it over time.

@@cooliodiablo6117 i good punch to the face can change the bone structure in milliseconds so why not some pressure from the tongue over the course of a few years
