Yeah unfortunately I have to agree with @D on this. I started getting grey hair in my early 20s (🤨) and have dyed my hair loads, and only permanent dyes work on the grey hairs. The bleach - or whichever product - you're using is penetrating the hair shaft, damaging it enough that the permanent dyes can adhere to it. Which if you take a look at box dyes at the store, they'll often have things written on them like 100% grey coverage, or not to use the product if you're trying to colour hair that is more than 50% grey. I have this and its fabulous, you don't need much at all.. it's amazing with a dampened blender sponge and a spritz of rose toner as primer! Just like skin

I was hoping this would work because Mac changed their formula for the Face & Body foundation which absolutely devastated me 😭 idk why they keep changing their formulas but it's heartbreaking because the Face & Body foundation was a holy grail product. Girl, since my twenties I’ve been gray, dyed my hair for years but 2 years ago, I decided to stop and let my grey hair grow… I do some low lights every now and then though but no more full on color. Because my hair grows so fast, I had to dye it every 3 weeks!! Too much!!! I still wish I had my dark brown hair but I’m embracing my greys at 44… I’m not going to lie, sometimes I’m thinking about dying it again and then I think how far I’ve gone and I decide against it… I just wish society would embrace it too. We’ve come a long way but sometimes people look at me like I’m an alien 👽😃 that’s okay!

I was looking forward to this review. It's a shame it didn't work out so good. I wonder if you used less and with a brush it would be better? Seeing as it's nothing like the Mac version. It might be nicer as a thinner layer perhaps. Hi Shelley I've seen kind of mixed reviews tbh on this one. If you apply it with a sponge or brush (like you would a normal foundation) and over a primer - it may perform a little better. I don't think it is a dupe for the Mac, but may work for some as a normal foundation. That said I hate highly fragranced makeup - rosacea and eczema prone super sensitive skin here. It's one of the issues I have with a lot of the revolution products including some of their skincare. Oh well at least I know not to even try it now. Best wishes.

I don't even like the MAC one. I think it is strictly for smooth, no blemishes skin, as it does not provide any coverage whatsoever. My old skin with sun spots look exactly the same before and after, it does not even smooth my skin tone. My favourite foundation at the moment is the Dior Forever Nude (not for oily skins though).

I have this foundation, and i guess there will always be good and bad reviews. I believe skin types, skin chemistry as well as different types of skin prep can change the way a product looks. I use a sponge and its beautiful. There is a scent, but for me its not terrible and i can't smell it after a few minutes. There are some good reviews on this too, i usually watch a good few reviews and if I'm undecided and the price is ok, i just buy it and try it for myself.

Hi the Mac F&B just expanded their shade range and now have a paler shade than the Dior. I'm the palest of the pale - for ref 008/091 in lancome teint idole, 0.5 in Revolution and now C0 in Mac F&B. I can rarely find a pale enough shade in any brand and this shade works for me. Go to counter and try it out.

Hi I like the new one and the girl said it wasn't reformulated - just relaunched with a more comprehensive shade range. For reference I have very dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin and I'm 49. I hope that helps. I can't guarantee it's the same, but most of the reviews I've seen say it is. I think Shelley reviewed it already, so might be worth checking out her latest review.

The new Studio Radiance is pretty much identical on me. I didn't realize it was the same product when I filmed the review but the ingredients are the same with one ingredient swapped in position, so I'm confident saying that it's more of a shade range expansion than a reformulation. So, it didn’t get an F because it literally didn’t drip oil off your face and onto your favorite Ireland hoodie like that $75 one from I-don’t-remember. Got it. 😂 How do the other MR foundations fare? Just average? I forget and I didn’t go digging in the spreadsheet. But if it fails even against its foundation siblings, no amount of “value per ounce” will save it. As for the vanilla, that would be a “run away” from the get go. Don’t get me wrong, I love vanilla but… I have a visceral reaction to vanilla anything for the body. Blame my husband. He used to enable the kids when they chose gifts for me, almost always from Bath & Body. One was the Warm Vanilla body spray. He noticed I wasn’t using it much and he liked it, so he put it in his spin bag. He’d go to spin class after work or on weekend mornings. But he wouldn’t shower at the community center because it’s only 4 miles from our house. You might have guessed what came next. Yes, he’d spritz with the vanilla (shades of “Eureka” anyone? Fans will know the episode.) and head home. Vanilla plus spin class. Yeah… 🤢🤢

Revolution is all about copying and (mostly) getting it wrong. I can't stand the brand. Did you know they just came out with another branch of Revolution and it had to do with being eco-friendly.....cause, ya know, asking the ENTIRE brand to be eco-friendly is asking way too much of them apparently. Hard pass on not just this product but all of their products and other branches of this brand. It's all bad news bears.
