I don't know if the panel gaps are as inconsistent as they seem in the video when viewing from a distance, but the way the panels are divided is very off-putting to me, especially the fastback trunk. Subjective opinion maybe.

Irrespective of the Tesla panel gap joke I’d say the panel gap, on this G8, where the front wheel arch is split and the bonnet/hood butts up looks a bit off particularly on the yellow car. Great bangs for bucks but probably not so much if it gets exported. I do, however, love the interior particularly that one piece wide screen. Super futuristic looking👍

Overkill is the word of the year in the Chinese car market. It is literally all they talk about, which carmakers can overkill on price, features, screens, performance, range, whatever. Apparently they have a saying in the Chinese automotive industry. The car company that engages in overkill will quickly start losing money hand over fist. HOWEVER, the car company which does not try to overkill is a dead company walking. So overkill it is, and the market will decide which overkiller lives and which dies.
