I've always assumed them using stun is just a way to save money. Blaster bolts are expensive when they're always nearing the red, and if you just need electricity to use stun..it's just cheaper to use that. Mainly when the end result is the same.

Gregor's "annoying" voice might be because his vocal cords were most likely damaged in the explosion. Right now he sounds like someone who screamed to much on a metal festival. It seems that Rex does similar things Kal Skirata did in legends: he offers clones who want out an escape route and a fresh start.

Well, i feel that either we are getting this Clone Rebellion, or maybe Feloni takes the idea of Clan Skiirata and Rex is building a refuge for clone deserters on some backwater world, if it fails or even if it does not fail. Which would be cool if somewhere, somehow, there is a colony of clones, even if its somewhere in the mandalorian systems, or even Dxun. Don't think its particulary likely, but it would be cool to include this detail from Legends, even without Kal. And on another note, it was very nice that Scorch was acting like some sort of mini boss. He was able to take several hits, seemed to be superior in CQC than Tech and put two rounds into Gregor. That Gregor survived and Scorch was able to take that many stun rounds just shows that they haven't forgotten the strength of Katarn Armor. Even if it was a little plot convenient, of course.

I'm a little surprised Rex would be okay with leading Clones that still have inhibitor chips in their heads, considering what he told the Bad Batch back in episode 8 about how as long as those chips are in your head you are a danger to yourself and those around, and Rex should know he saw first hand what the chips did to his boys, including poor Jesse. The dude should have major PTSD when it comes to those chips and the first rule of any rebelling Clone is to follow would be to remove your chip. Still, though, Rex leading a Clone Rebellion is the best idea ever and I'm now more excited than ever for what comes next in The Bad Batch. I'm taking bets now on how many Clones Rex will be leading in the charge and how many of them will actually survive. I'm going with 200 Clones and only about 40 of them survive, just enough for a full Platoon, plus Officers. Also, I only know that's enough for a full Platoon because of another Geetsly's video, so thanks for that Geetsly. :)

I think the main reason the Empire is so determined to scrap the clone program is because, barring the organic chip programming, most of them remain loyal to the republic and Jedi order. While they killed the Jedi order and can have their free will taken away with order 66. It’s evident that the Jedi have left a permanent impression on the clones and once it becomes apparent that the Empire is nothing like the Republic, many more will turn against them. Also with relations deteriorating between the empire and kamino, they have no guarantee that they won’t tamper the clones to create a Battlefront 2 situation. So might as well raise an army of loyal soldiers high on nationalism after the their victory in the clone wars that can be brainwashed the old fashioned way.

I want Imperialized Hunter. I’m also still thinking that we will get a plot twist and Crosshair will end up the last member of the Bad Batch and “raises” Omega. Also Rex starting a Clone Rebellion is cool, but I think the cooler one would be that they become the trainers of the Rebellion, and some Rebels units even take the place of old Clone Battalions like imagine a Rebel Wolf Pack, or Rex starts his own Torrent Company.

I've got a weird feeling that Crosshair's chip was fried by that Ion Engine. I mean for example on Ryloth he clearly suspected that the Captain there was uncomfortable with his orders but stood back & did nothing. Yet when he was given orders on Ryloth he ignored those orders to follow his instincts and actively redirected troops to (attempt to) catch the Bad Batch. Also when Crosshair was faced with Captain Howser's public declaration to lay down arms he didn't shoot him, merely ordered his arrest. Very unlike wirh that young trooper put under his command episode 2 he straight up killed for disobeying orders. Not saying Crosshair's 'good again' suddenly but definitely something more subtle is happening with him

Wolffe was definitely not immune to the Order. While Rex was basically normal, if a bit depressed, and Gregor was a bit mad but still rather functional, Wolffe was a wreck who still seemed afraid of the Jedi. He was the one who betrayed the Ghost crew to the Empire, not Rex or Gregor.

Maybe like many other Clones his chip activated, but it wasn’t put to use as he was not in the immediate vicinity of a Jedi so the effect wasn’t as strong. My theory is just saying Order 66 wasn’t enough to fully activate the chip fully. They needed to have a Jedi as well. We see this with wrecker as he didn’t really start going crazy until the words Padawan, traitor and Jedi were mentioned.

Wrecker doesn't use the stun setting. and Hunter, Echo, and Tech were fighting a mix of clones and non clones so apparently they chose to err on the side of caution. I have a feeling they'll stop using the stunn setting pretty soon. especially if they are certain that their enemies are not clones.

First we heard about "remaining hidden jedi" by Vader to Ahsoka on Rebels, and now we know that many clones were deserting across the galaxy, all of this happening on the shadows makes me think that this 2 completely unrelated situations are somehow leading to something being prepared to show to the viewers, maybe it's a Filoni's plan, maybe something with the outer regions of the galaxy, but everything is still uncertain.

I rewatched the episode of rebels where they find Rex and the others again. I totally forgot how defeated Rex was in the beginning. Saying he wasn’t a soldier anymore. I’m not sure how many seasons of Bad Batch there is going to be, but I’d wager that the show or at least Rex’s involvement with it, ends in a disastrous clone rebellion. They were called the Clone WARS after all. Not war. So maybe it’ll be small skirmishes or Some kind of dramatic multi-episode battle or siege that breaks Rex and his will to fight until rebels. Maybe it’ll be loyal clones fighting rebels because the empire doesn’t want to waste stormtroopers, promising freedom to those who stay with the empire. or maybe it’ll include stormtroopers to show how superior they are. I’m not so sure Wolfe will be involved on Rex’s side because he was still able to contact the empire with information, so there can’t be total bad blood between clones and the empire.

And this, captain rex, gives me the vibes of Kal skirata - father of clone commandos, Who adopted them after they deserted from the empire and started their small army of Some sorts. So I hope they took Some inspiration from those novels.

Rex’s line from Rebels “Let’s hope you brought a better class of soldier than those Stormtroopers” would seem to suggest now that even though Rex’s Clone Rebellion was defeated by the Empire, the clones fought like hell and didn’t make it easy for the Imperials

Something that you never talked about is Scorch aside from confirming that's him. But I wonder if that confirms Delta Squad Accepted the Empire. There's a couple possibilities... 1. All of Delta Squad Accepted the Empire. 2. All of Delta has Accepted for Now.... 3. Scorch is Delta Squad's version of Crosshair, meaning that the rest Boss, Sev (Wherever he is), and Fixer all defected. 4. Something Else.....

Uh I’d just like to argue and point out Rex is considered MIA or KIA. But it’s in fact Clone Force 99 who are inspiring clone deserters (unknowingly). I mean they’re the only clones to return to Kamino and on their second visit they’re court marshaled and even escape one of their squad mates. One their squad mates who knows them all to well. And now you have had Hunter, Tech, Wrecker, Echo, and Omega out on the fringes of this newly forming empire openly taking jobs as mercenaries and not hiding from the empire very well. So word would get around about a team of mercs who wear semi matching armor and travel with a kid and all look alike. Other clones hear and see this on the holos or through rumors on outer rim worlds or even the core and follow suit because they still have a conscience and morals, something they developed and something the Kaminoans or Empire did not quite plan. Rex on the other hand. I think he’s just looking to hide. Maybe also find other deserters and pull them out before they disappear into the shadows of the Empire. Cause where we pick up on him in Rebels he’d been hiding out with Gregor and Wolfe the whole time presumably. He’s done with war right now, I mean the fact he was forced to try and kill Ahsoka and then watch his own brothers be forced to try to kill him… I’d say that’d do some serious psychological damage that needs time to heal and mend

Stormtroopers were still highly skilled units. Nothing compared to clone standards but they were still amongst the best frontline forces the Empire had to field.

Considering Rex served under the most reckless Jedi general. It is likely that his resistance movement will be pretty big, but he will not be able to actually make use of it and will probably rush things.

There is simply nothing worse than knowing how it ends for so many. Most of the clones dead or insane. Over a decade of a facist regime. Billions displaced, dead, destitute. It makes me really hope that the troopers have some kinda afterlife so even the fallen can see the victory that they died for.

Specifically, elite Black Ops clones that almost nobody would know of, that conducts ops such as assassinations, and killing 'unloyal clones.'
