Good job man, but I would be careful with statements like: "That is the reason polyacryamide is never used for DNA separation." Because in fact, it is. You can separate smaller DNA molecules (few hundreds base pairs) by PAGE. The producers of the ladders often show scheme of fragment separation in both, agarose and polyacrylamide gels. For example GeneRuler 100bp plus DNA ladder from Thermo Fisher, which is up to 3000 bp, has the scheme of separation in 5% polyacrylamide gel. So, in some specific cases, polyacrylamide gel is used for DNA separation, especially after the PCR amplification.
