This is excellent, Robyn. So clear. I've never seen any instructions on this before. I am already working through a book my hubby bought for me, which has palm leaves, corn husks and bark on the cover (I call it my Organic Journal) and hand-made paper pages. I've been removing one page and glueing the previous and subsequent page over the torn out part, and doing it from the front as I go. I've only done a few spreads so far and already the thing is distorting... I'm going to stop what I'm doing and follow your insructions from now on in, lol! (I wish I'd seen this video before I started...) Also, I've glued the page across its entirety rather than just at the edges. They don't seem to be buckling. I did them with PVA. The hand-made paper is fairly thin and very absorbent, so I've painted the pages with either clear gesso or acrylic polymer and have had no bleed-through. I started watching this playlist with the video on matt acrylic and spray inks and just loved that one - also the glimpses of the other pages you'd already done, so I knew I had to watch the whole thing from the start! I am so looking forward to following through with this. So much to learn and enjoy. I am relatively new to gel printing and am addicted already!

Good tips. I like to tear out 3 pages then skip 2. I also use YES! Paste to glue pages for super sturdy pages. Also, there is less wrinkling of paper. I learned about YES! Paste from a wedding scrapbooker. I like to use math text books for the text, numbers, and graphics.
