Gen 3 Coyote Oil Pump Gear Install

After a very long wait we're finally working on the coyote. in this episode we replace the oil pump gears and put our timing cover from Power By The Hour on the gen 3 coyote!
Thank you to everyone for their patience with me uploading this video, the next one should be out much sooner than the last. between issues with recording, issues with editing, and issues with the car I just got way behind track. everything should be ironed out (mostly) and there should be less wait times from now on... I hope.

I thought dropping the oil pan was a must on these gen 3 coyotes, due to the oil pick up tube not giving enough clearance to slide the oil pump out

Soooo..not really an oil pump gear how-to, but a cam phazer/timing chain how-to. I really would like to know the pattern and sequence on torqueing the oil pump housing down, once the gears are in and the housing is back together.

These videos are really made for documentation and entertainment more than anything, It really wasn’t meant to be a how-to for multiple reasons but there is more information on the timing assembly. The main reason is the footage kept corrupting and continuous crashing with my editing software plus the uploading process kept having issues due to the size of the files i was dealing with. If you’d like you can shoot me a DM on instagram and when i have time i can try to find the torque sequence and info to send to you unless you found them already. @StockBlocks I get it, but I am watching to get information on the oil pump gear install specifically. Like torque values and sequence. When you click on a video about oil pump gear install, and they basically say remove oil pump, change gears, re-install oil pump, but you watch 11 mins of it before you realize they aren't going to show you what you are there for, it gets old. 😉
