Great video, really well presented. Are the haldex units generally saveable once they start scrabbling or is that a sign of a worn out unit?

Does the Evoque 2014 have gen 4 Haldex? Or active driveline?

Hi Matt, thanks for taking the time to make and share these fantastic videos, they really explain how to properly service and clean what seems like a daunting complicated bit of kit which is actually fairly simple. Can I ask, is there a DIY way to clean the n373 valve? Are you pulsing it by applying 12v to the terminals or is there more to it than that? I'd imagine blow out the holes with compressed air / brake and clutch cleaner would be the 2nd best option? Your haldex control repair for our Tiguan was perfect. 😊

You could blow it out and put some power to it to open the spindle inside. Its better than nothing. The cleaner we use pulses the valve at high frequencies that's why it buzzes and it varies the 100% of the on v's off of the square wave that's driving it (pwm). Its based on an injector testing controller.
