Mean Gene and Bobby Heenan were the classiest non-wrestling figures in the history of the business

Bobby was a wrestling figure. He was a wrestler, and he actually was pretty good in the ring back in his day. Although he said his ambitions lay outside the ring as a manager.

It makes me happy that Gene named Spicolli. That was so tragic, cause he was just starting to get his big break. A giant "What If?"

Miss Elizabeth was an adult. She made her choices. It is a tragedy, but the fault cannot be 100% on Lex.

Imagine thinking you could stop an adult drug addict with their own money from taking drugs. Impossible! People change when THEY ARE READY and until then nobody can stop them from doing what they want to do

You can hear the hurt and anger when he talks about those guys that are no longer around. I think warrior said it best and he said guys curt henning and Rick rude and davey boy just never grew up and couldn’t get over the wrestling business. I look at guys like hogan and flair and look that they went through and you ask urself how the hell are those guys still alive ? It’s crazy but you can see how frustrated it is to hear your friends dying after stupid decisions they make..

There was a span there during the early and mid-2000's where we lost a lot of great wrestlers. Thankfully, it seems as though that trend has slowed down with the exception of Bray Wyatt (though that was from COVID, not drugs). Still...you have to think that they wrestlers today remember what happened to those guys. That and the rigorous drug and medical testing they do now certainly helps.

I don't think it's far fetched to think Lex caused Elizabeth so much mental abuse at that time that she acted out and intentionally took too many pills that night.

@@richardwang1739there’s probably a reason Lex isn’t in the HOF and it’s not because he jumped over to Nitro

If it ain't far fetched, you must be able to back up that claims by facts. Since you can't, it's the exact opposite. A wild assumption

Everyone has a choice. lex did not kill her. She made her own bad decisions. His problems did not help the situation, no doubt, but she made her own decisions

That's not true, unfair to say that. Unfortunately everyone has a choice and she made hers to get involved in drugs. She was involved in drugs before they were together. His problem didn't help her situation no doubt but he did not kill her
