Gene Simmons returns and bonds with Adam over Hungarian culture, food, and language. They also discuss the early days of KISS and some of the bands that they’ve toured with. Gene and Adam have an in-depth discussion about some of their favorite early R&B songs and why they love The Beach Boys. Gene also shares exciting news about his new film production company.
Todd Rose joins next and talks about ‘Collective Illusions’ and the various conformity bias he has discovered through extensive research and data collection. The group discusses private vs. public opinion and how social media has affected societal thinking. Todd also shares some historical examples of how America has been affected by these illusions.

But isn't Gene Simmons the one that was telling us we all had to comply with the 2O 2O "thing" or we deserve what we get & how terrible we are? I remember writing the band off a few yrs ago during this time when experts were warningabout it on Twitter & getting ban'd for it

My first Kiss concert was at MSG in NYC and The Sammy Hagar Band opened. They were booed off, and I remember Hagar saying F you to us as he walked off. We were happy they left. I was maybe 14. My Grandpa gave me 20 bucks to go and scalp tix. So I rode the train to MSG from Elizabeth. I got really great loge seats for $20!! (Orig price $5.50) I had no idea Gene was a Hungarian, til much later, so we have that in common along with other things, including I write and play rock music even into my old age now. Thanks Gene and Kiss for making my youthful years fun and interesting despite having grown up poor as dirt. I still have the orig Kiss Alive album at home, and on CD in my truck. LOL. You guys were the highlight of my high school years, as well as many of my classmates'. Fun music, fun times!

Gene came from nothing and hugely appreciated everything that America had to offer, especially the opportunity to make something of himself - which of course he did, in spades! Nothing was given to him or his band. Lots of talent, hard work, ingenuity, and perseverance, resulted in kiss, climbing the ladder and making it to the top. People threw tomatoes and many other things at kiss when they first started, but that just made them work harder to read better songs and become better musicians, as well as put on a better show. Over the years they spent millions on their shows in order to add a whole new level of excitement to their concerts that no other band had done. Few if any of you out there could do anything even close to what gene was able to accomplish in his lifetime. So he deserves our respect and not the hate and stupid from the many young tweedle dumbs out there who obviously know nothing about him and what he went through to get ready at today. Rock on forever, Gene!!

KISS was my first concert at the St Louis Checkerdome. I went with my mother who was petite and pretty and quite youthful in appearance. Some biker types kept passing her joints. My Mom's response: "These boys keep giving me tobacco." Eventually they passed her a little red bong. I grabbed it and went down to them and told them she was my mother. To their credit they apologized profusely about 10 times throughout the show. And we all kept looking at each other and giggling about it. They were cool guys. The show was magnificent. And I spent a lot of time thinking, "Is this really KISS?" I just could not believe I was in the same building with the band. This was around the Love Gun era and I was about 14. I'll never forget it.

Years ago when I was in a drug treatment facility where clothing was donated and clients would take on stuff, a group came to our facility for a live-speaker meeting one night. Seated in a chair was a very black man in his 40s with short hair, and he was wearing an orange and black football jersey that had KISS ARMY on the front and back -- and which I automatically assumed he had acquired as a donated clothing item. Yes, because the man was very black and with short hair, I immediately was sure that he did not know anything about rock or what the wording on the jersey meant and started to volunteer my explanation to him about it. The guy got pissed and spun around in his chair and snarled at me, "Man! Whachu know about Kiss? Man, I'm from DETROIT!!!" That was the end of that conversation! 😂

Yes, certain things we did we didn’t have to do regarding Covid. Adam never brings up what was happening in hospitals. My wife works as a traveling nurse, and in many places they were stacking bodies in refrigerated trucks. The main issue was about making sure the entire healthcare system did not collapse. Note: I did have two close friends who died, one was a marathoner, neither had any pre-existing conditions. One was 64 and the other was 35. Sure mostly old people or people with pre-existing conditions, or both, died. Some younger folks died and it wasn’t many, not important until it’s a member of your family. Note: The CDC’s China headcount had shrunk to around 14 staffers, down from approximately 47 people in 2017. A President Donald Trump decision! The cuts in staff included epidemiologists and other health professionals. Hello!

When you're a peasant, the contrast between people over 70 where you are and people over 70 in Hollywood is just bizarre. Here, we've got your boiler plate old people ... wearing old people clothes with slippers on the wrong feet, with grey messy hair(if they're lucky), sad, confused, or plain gone in the head. But in Hollywood, you've got the exact same old bodies, but with all these grotesque affectations ... fake hair styled and dyed as if they're 30, ... wearing inappropriate clothes and shoes like they're 30 ... using words like they're 30. It's like me turning up at a super car meet-up, with cardboard cut-outs sellotaped over my 21 year-old Volkswagen Bora and a grainy cassette of fake engine sounds playing on a loop, seriously expecting to pass it off as a brand new Lamborghini Huracan instead of the knackered old shit heap it is. Still - good interview. p.s. the CIA missed the Velvet Revolution??? Are you fucking KIDDING me? The CIA/NSA were behind ALL of the colour revolutions, from eastern europe through the middle east, to Maidan in 2014. Sorry, but Todd Rose doesn't know what's been going on in the world for the last 100 years. Get Mike Benz or Daniel Sheehan on Adam - they'll set you straight brother.

Adam, I’ve written to you in the past about the power of daily brisk walking, I guess you didn’t take me seriously. You’re obviously a Kiss fan, look at Gene Simmons. Does he look different than he did a few years ago? Does it seem like he’s somehow aged in reverse? Look at current images of the rest of the band sans makeup, do they somehow look old and young at the same time? Do they seem like they have energy? Or are they winding down like aging clocks? If you practice walking briskly everyday the mathematical benefits will payoff like compounding interest. You want to walk briskly, making sure to swing both of your arms while using your eyes for things both near and far. Open your eyes slightly wider while you’re walking and remember to always have fun. A best of AC/DC playlist will give you an idea of pace. An Apple Watch and closing your rings is cheaper than any trainer or gym. Underdress for the occasion or you’ll overheat, feel sick and quit. Remember to stay hydrated. That’s it, it really is that simple. And it’s sustainable for life. The benefits are that it’ll change your physicality, your countenance, your energy, your mind and then possibly your life. PS- Please, I beg of you, check with your Doctor before starting this process. I suspect in some people it can cause an event. Practicing the art of daily brisk walking is that powerful. PSS- The man to your left, who I’ve never seen, ask him how many miles a week he walks. Edit: I really want this doctor thing to hit home so I going to say this, Netanyahu had an event after I told him. Today, he looks sharper and fitter than I can recall.

@@vasil12361 Interesting 🤔 ....I was wondering what ever happened to the Mitsubishi Eclipse? It changed from a 2-door Sports car to a utility crossover and nobody seemed to notice

I'm in my mid-40's and love bands like Megadeth and Tool. But I'm also a Taylor Swift and Kelly Clarkson fan. Wide range. Never understood the KISS love. What am I missing?
