Hello there was wondering do you use OEM spark plugs or do you have some success using the China ones that come with the Amazon carburetor kit?

I don't use OEM plugs. I usually use champion equivalent. As far as Chinese plugs I don't mind using them.

its ready unless the temp is below freezing then you need 5w30 full synthetic.

Thank you Total Entertainment for the comment. You can use Heavy-duty 30w or 10w30 oil. I'm not sure about the plug as I don't have the generator anymore.

Any idea where the oil drain bolt is? Also what type of oil would you use for this generator? Thanks. I have the same generator and just replace the carb and air filter

its on the same side of the drain fill at the bottom. its a square bolt. I just needed a reason to use my oil pump. I would use 10w30 since you can use the generator any time of the year.

Thanks for the good video. I have the 1850 pulse, which looks to be an older variant, but similar. Did you run it for a few minutes before changing the oil? I believe you're better off changing the oil after the unit has warmed up.

@@HomeGaragechannel I got mine started and - once I understood to move the choke lever almost immediately, it runs great. I used some mobile-1 full synthetic I had sitting around for the oil change.

Yes you can but it will never be the same afterwards.

wrong oil. 5w30 full synthetic is what should be used. your using lawn mower oil.
