my first "felony look" (in 88) was a high/drunk dude jumping around on top of a cherokee in a bar parking lot. already smashed the windshield, stove in the roof and hood. people standing around watching when I rolled up. he was on the hood so was hoping maybe I could snatch his legs and pull, but wasn't sure how to not get kicked. I saw him look past me and start to flex. I just got out 'don't run bucky' when he tried to jump over me to make the break. he led with his left foot. reflexively I grabbed the ankle as it went over my rt shoulder. I can still hear the slap/crunch sound of his face and hands simultaneously hitting the asphalt.

I worked security in Canada for over 9 years. I've been in situations where security have said don't do it. And bam shit hits the fan. Full on wrestling match take down. Or guy tries to run. I worked as hospital security, loss prevention, uniform security, event security, and mobile patrol both foot and car.

I found a video here on KZbin called the 10 dummest criminals where when I saw it I couldn't stop laughing. In one of the video's these two people went to go break in a building one throws a rock at a window and it bounced back and knocked out his parner lol. So he tries again and knocks himself out. 😂😂. In another video these two men broke into a house and the guy butt dialed 911 and of course the two criminals were unaware that one of them butf dialed 911 and the operator heard the whole thing and of course they got arrested 😂😂. I laughed uncontrollably for a few minutes. It still cracks me up everytime I watch it 😂😂. You ought to do a video about the top 50 funniest stupidest criminals when you have the time.

OMG i had this exact thing happen to me when working as LPO. Chased a shoplifter into the parking lot and he ran right at a marked POLICE car. Tackled him like 10 feet from the police car and yelling stop resisting. Cop gets out of his car all confused. Looks at me and my partner who are plain cloths and ask you guys LPO's. And we said yes. Guy's all twitchy flexing his fists and tensing up. Cop is like I think I'm going to cuff you right now. We put his arms behind his back so the officer can cuff him. Cop questions him runs his name turns out the guy's on probation has curfew and is breaking curfew and probation conditions by being out past curfew. He's arrested for violation of probation. The officer didn't bother charging him for theft under 5000. This happened in Canada. After the officer takes him away me and my partner are just like why did he run towards a police car ?

The department that equipped Samsung Galaxy phones as police cameras was genius. The image stabilization on these cameras is nonexistent. Plus the phones are probably cheaper and have a bunch of backup features if the cop needs them in an emergency.

I inadvertently helped the police department where I live a couple months ago. They were chasing someone and I was sitting at a stoplight in my wheelchair waiting for the light to change And i saw this guy running toward me and I tried moving out of the way. But he tripped over me and fell on the ground and the cops arrested him.
