I think they not only did a great job, but because they aren't professional voice actors, it actually made the presentation feel more intimate and casual. I can count on one hand the number of games I've played over the past 40 years capable of rivaling Genshin Impact. The magnitude of copy is exactly the issue with the localization, it's overly wordy in a way that's made it a punchline. Skill descriptions are incomprehensible, especially for a game that's played by young people, and dialogue has endless empty easily-cuttable yapping that conveys absolutely nothing about the setting, situation or characters. All the important stuff is hidden away in the books and gear descriptions for some reason. Its bad sorry

@@daridon2483It’ll be harder for Genshin to do tbh. Genshin’s main events (mostly) have actual story. The only HSR events that have story are the ones that tie into continuance quests. Genshin’s events sometimes have map changes and things too. Not just additional maps like the summer events, but also like for Hues in the Violet Garden, Inazuma is filled with maple leaves. Having an event replay thing would also take up a lot of storage. The main events and their quests are longer, and there’s more of them. I’d love that sorta thing too but it’d be hard to implement.
