Due to finding SV Delos so late in the adventure - about half way through - I have only just caught up with this episode. Losing Lizbef was bad enough, but now losing Leesir too, is really disheartening. I will miss her happy smiling face and her silly comments. Been trying to catch up since I found this channel. Binge watched the Indian Ocean crossing so much I actually got seasick. Falling in love with the crew like Frida and Max and of course Josje. Cried when Lizbef left but, no one has gotten my heart as much a Liser. Such a plucky adventurous young lady! I will miss her.

Watching people come to Delos is very cool. They arrive and are accepted into the family. Some are here and gone and some stay on and we get to watch them grow within the family. When they leave is becomes emotional, you watch for a few years and they become a part of your weekly trip to other parts of the world through Delos. Stay safe Lisa, be well.

Lisa, if you're reading this I want you to know what a wonderful lady you are and how you have helped me to see the world a little differently than this jaded old man used to. The way you so eloquently put into words your experiences, your feelings about those experiences and the subsequent reflections of them, has taught me to be a lot less negative about my life and to just take some things as they come and how they are without being too bitter about it. Well I hate that Lisa had to leave Delos and the crew to go back to Austria , but hopefully she will return someday soon. She always had something cool to talk about especially on watch , I loved seeing the sunsets and sunrises she filmed and her cooking things from her home country for the crew. It’s hard to believe nine months has gone by and I hope Lisa made it home safety and she’s keeps in touch with the crew. I wish her the best in her new adventure in Austria. never thought a video from delos would impact my emotions and bring tears like now. leesir leaving although, ive traveled back from the begining of delos and its journey, leesir gave me so much inspiration and love, for sailing and a growth of being a sailor. actually considered stopping my travels with delos, and taking a break, but realized that leesir did no such thing and she pressed on, not chasing men to france or being tired of the ocean. i really would like someday to be honored to meeting her. no matter where she is now, she is in my heart.

Years ago when I first discovered you guys, I commented that you should cut your episodes to 23 or 44 minutes so you could sell them to a cable channel like Travel, NatGeo, or Discovery. I watch a lot of sailing channels and I'm constantly reminded "one is none, and two is one" it's an old marine saying. My grandpa used to say that all the time. He was in Guadalcanal, Tarawa , Midway, and Wake. He was a General Practioner, Suregeon, and Volunteer Captain for the Coast Guard the rest of his life after the war. We'll miss you Lisa!! Love Austria, spent 6 months living in Braunau, and I love the level headedness and charm of your country. Sepp Holzer runs a wonderful permakulture farm there if you like really unique and rare organic foods. I think the name of his farm is the Krameterhof. I know of no other that grows lemons in the Alps.
