Goodbye Dr G thanks for touching and changing the life of a white boy from NZ living in Sydney. Your music got me through. Thanks for your beauty and strength.

I was so blessed to hear the man in concert at the Sydney Opera House. This was no cheesey accident. It was my second trip to Oz and I fancied a concert at the stereotypical place. I took a punt on a man who I'd never heard of (I'm a UK guy) and got this fella Honest to say I'll never forget it.

You are so lucky, I was there that night and it was one of the most moving musical events I've been to. To accidentally stumble on that is tremendous luck.

What an amazing amazing voice and talent Gurrumul is, so softly powerful only heard of him through Gary Barlow and his song "Sing". Already ordered my Gurrumul CD. Love and respect to all Aborigines

@chunkstar666 You have hit the nail on the head. His people and culture reflect all that we once were. Thats why we as non- aboriginals feel this music. We need to look to this oldest of living cultures and learn how to get back to where we belong!!!! Instead of this country doing its best to wipe this culture out, we should be humbly asking them to teach us the way home!!!!! Thankyou for expressing the true meaning of Gurrumuls music and sharing it with the rest of us:)
