those islands are unique, in many terms. especially in terms of african countries and their territory/geography. owning an archipelago, sized about 15% of your landmass, is quite rare for a guinea-bissau sized nation...! greetings from finland! As a Guinean I would say most of the video is pretty accurate. The Portuguese was terrible but I definitely appreciate the effort. Also want to point out that the country as developed immensely over the last 5 years with new hotels, restaurants and government infrastructure. Guinea-Bissau shares a history of liberation against the Portuguese with Cabo Verde. Amilcar Cabral is a national heroe in both countries. In Cabo Verde he made ways for the Creole language to gain recognition in the goverment. he was a warrior and a scholar. There is also a statue to Amilcar Cabral in Cabo Verde.

I know a thing or two about Guinea -Bissau being that im from Cape Verde. Personally i think its quite sad to see so much potencial (natural resources) not being used for the betterment of the country due to the lack of stability.

Could say what kind of valuable natural resources does Guinea Bissau have? Because as far as I am concerned, Portugal almost didn't give damn about Guinea Bissau, it was much more interested on the natural resources on the much bigger and richer colonies like Angola and Mozambique, the only reason it only got attention latter because Guinea Bissau started to kick in the butt of the Portuguese and started to become the Portuguese Vietenam.
